Please Critique- The World's Backwards

I am the author and lyricist. Intro by Larry Silverstein, confessing giving orders to "pull" building 7 of the WTC on September 11, 2001. Please let me know what you think and I'll look forward to the feedback.

[Verse 1]
How I can write rhymes when I can't even see straight?
How can I find time when I'm always late?
How can I relax when I look at the facts,
And want to react but that's why I'm always attacked?
Our president is ill legit and nobody cares,
Are they too scared to speak or really just unaware?
Who knows not me yet I'm the crazy,
And it’s amazing the world's lazy trying to faze me,
And label me the bad guy ‘cause I oppose war,
And don't support troops with the blood and the gore,
‘Cause I recall the day when my God was a threat,
Would you've supported the troops who beat Christ to death?
The worlds upside down when doctors are killing,
Banks are running the show while politicians are villains,
Lawyers are trained and taught to honor the law,
Yet employed to tell lies to whoever they call,
Our schools all teach curriculum that's twisted,
And treat left-brained kids like they're the ones who's gifted,
But think with the right side and out of the box,
And you've got a disorder and need pills for order,
To keep you on lock and looking down at the pages,
Until your creativity and imagination is faded,
And we're jaded ‘cause every doctor teacher and prof,
Is sadly stuck in the system and gladly teaching the prop,
And preachers rising up high on a stage,
Collecting checks and telling sheep that it's the way to be saved,
The world is backwards so how could I be sane?
Or take this matrix as real when everything is a game?
The stock market's dropping from one extra digit,
While day traders making millions in a matter of minutes,
Disney put up a fence to fill it with rides,
An amusement park with many visual lies,
Trying to mask the planet so what we see with our eyes,
In New York and LA is where reality lies,
Well I don't buy, so then what's there?
But a fictional simulation of a world in despair.

The worlds backwards doctors kill health,
Lawyers kill law society kills self,
Schools destroy knowledge and goverments kill freedom,
Media kills info we need to believe in,
Religion kills spirituality and is fake,
What would Jesus do about the offering plate?
The world is backwards and spinning on tilt,
A prison known as the planet the Devil himself built.

What do you do when the Revolution's polluted,
And shooting's viewed in America as a service to you? Huh?
What do you see when you put on the TV but screaming,
Bleeding and weeping and people cursing at you?! Huh?!
How can I be how can I sleep and not freak,
Fearing the flu or a nuke? So what's a person to do?
When everything you know and knew aint true?
And you need a new way to figure what you aim to,
Be and you know who just know that He aint through,
Although it dont make sense is what we've came to,
And when I came to it was like the world collapsed,
With so many gaps too many to repair smooth,
So, I grip a knife and hold tight though it ain’t right,
I'm still sleeping with a semi-automatic pistol at night,
Dreaming of killing the villains who killin’ millions of children,
Concealing floor to the ceiling the Real and officially Right, feel it?

Very well done. Good lyrics with substance are rare these days.

I mean no disrespect, but this clip popped in my head when I heard your rhythm...

Your lyrics speak the truth friend, but that is the ultimate illusion i believe. No matter how much truth we see and make others aware of, this backwards way of thinking and living has created a spin so to speak that we cannot just stop and reverse. Everyone will do what they need to do to continue their survival, and so we have reached a point where more and more people are truely awakening to this fact, but simply feel they cannot do anything about it because everything is surrounded by the same illuson...and so the only conclusion i have come to, is that those who understand this process, the only thing left to do is do what the op is doing..using his creative abilities to extend his knowledge to others. Soon enough, i feel like if we can all share what we know in a creative interpretation, the realization will come to those same people that they are capable of producing the results that we need in order to start slowing the spin. Every decision lies in every one of us, and as soon as We can all understand that, we can also understand that it is never too late, and nothing is impossible to overcome.

Especially if your like me when someone doubts your abilities...it only drives me harder to prove them wrong. Keep on creating brother!! i have something very very special in the works that i have been working on these past few months that i plan to complete tonight. And i cannot wait to share it with you all!!

I'll look forward to seeing it. And what you've said is true. The problem is that to show others a documentary filled with facts, or a book that outlines the entire scheme is too...boring to most. It's sad. But we live in the age of Facebook and text messaging where to keep one's interest longer than thirty seconds is a task. I almost feel like adults have become like children, in that to teach them something, you have to make it sound, look, or feel fun. I've tried talking to my brother about this stuff, and his response I believe is like many, "I'll work probably fifty hours this week, and then I have lawn work, chores, and errands. And when I do get a couple hours to relax I'm going to drink some beers and watch some TV, not some documentary that I can't anything about".

I agree that peoples attention span these days is so short that unless we can make something important seem dramatic or filled with over the top entertainment, it gets shrugged off as boring. It truely is sad but we realize that is how society has become. We have identified the solution to this problem however...so whether we want to believe it or not, at least people can come a little closer to understanding something if we take the time to make it a little more exciting than it should be. So we need to be more creative in our ways of delivering our messages. Thats how i see it...not how i want it to be.

Just thought i would mention...i used your song and lyrics as a point of reference to my girlfriend when trying to explain how our world truely is. It has been difficult in the last 3 years to bring her closer to the same realizations as you and i have, but when we use our knowledge to create, it makes that realization easier to Understand.
