Mrs. Lloray called the Duchess County Sheriff's Department, setting into motion a chain of bizarre and tragic events that made the quiet little town of Wappingers Falls, New York -- population 5,000 -- the focus of national attention.
The girl in the trash bag on the grounds of the Pavillion Condominiums was 15-year-old Tawana Brawley. Four days earlier she had played hooky from school in order to visit a former boyfriend, Todd Buxton, who was incarcerated at the Orange County Jail in nearby Newburgh. That evening Tawana took a bus to the town of Wappingers, where she had lived with her mother in Apartment 19A at the Pavillion Condominiums prior to their moving to Wappingers Falls. According to Tawana, she was abducted by several white men shortly after she got off the bus; the men, one of whom wore a badge, took her to a wooded area and sexually abused her over a period of several days.
When police and paramedics arrived at the Pavillion Condominiums in response to Joyce Lloray's call, they found Tawana's clothes torn, cut and partially burned. Her body and clothing were smeared with feces, and on her chest and torso the words "KKK," "NIGGER" and "BITCH" had been written with what appeared to be charcoal. Since it seemed that Tawana's civil rights had been violated, the FBI was called in. A rape kit was administered at St. Francis Hospital and sent under seal to an FBI lab for analysis. Interviewed at the hospital by a black officer from the Poughkeepsie Police Department, Tawana claimed she had been repeatedly raped by a group of white men but could provide no names or descriptions of her assailants. She later told others that there had been no rape, only other kinds of sexual abuse. Forensic tests found no evidence that a sexual assault of any kind had occurred. Nor was there any evidence of exposure to elements, which would be expected in a victim held for several days in the woods at a time when the temperature dropped below freezing at night.

We see a few of the more major events, and a few "smaller" events such as these. But the fact is that this is happening all the time all around the planet. I'm not trying to say that everyone does this. I'm trying to say that it is a big problem that directly affects large segments of the population.

What many fail to perceive is that this is really the core problem. That some feel compelled to commit violence on their fellows is the cancer eating into our social fabric.

To understand how a being can stoop to this kind of behavior is to understand much.

And to realize that many workable handlings exist is to realize much.

From that understanding and that realization can come effective action. And that's what we need more of right now. Not name-calling. Not finger-pointing. We need effective action to implement workable handlings.

My thoughts and experience exactly , someone else said the poor woman will be buried in the desert by now .Maybe maybe not ? For all we actually know she has just cashed a huge check,collected a green card and a ticket to the good old United States of America ? Honestly from what we see here none of us know anything for certainty .This video clip posted here show's just what length the propaganda machine will go to manipulate and direct public opinion.I'm just saying don't be so hasty in your judgements, nothing else .

I don't know what it is but something is "off" or "strange" about this video.
Maybe I'm sheltered and am not use to seeing such aggression in a formal setting like this but I don't know.

What I do know, from working with many many teen girls and women who are survivors of rape is that something horrible did happen to her you can tell by the way she reacts to the man in the brown coat.
She actually reacts to him as if he is an original attacker, she reacts to him differently than the others.
Body language is very intense - hands going to face, fetal position, screaming in sheer terror screaming "no no no".
It almost looks as if she may be having a flash back.

When this happens to a woman it is as if they die the day that this happens they are forever changed and it takes a lot of time of therapy to get a semblance of normalcy back and sometimes that doesn't even work.
Hopefully she can gain support help and realize that every day she suffers she continues to surrender to these men and give them exactly what they want and by coming forward she is taking back control which is great but may also be the reason that man is acting the way he does.
Rapist like to prolong their attack a lot of times they'll continue a mental assault on the victim which helps them relive the event. To lose the power they gained will make them insane.

This story is not over even though this thread has been derailed by unfounded suspicions... This lady was released yesterday officials claim to the safety of her family... However contact made with various family members who claim this is a lie,and fear she will never be seen alive again. They also stated that this woman is not a prostitute or a lier, and go on to say she is a Lawyer. Her mother, clamied to have been contacted by her kidnapers. These people told her she would be released alive as soon as she retracted her statements. Her mother then spoke with her daughter. Instead of telling her to change her story,she instead ordered her captive daughter to stand firm. The reply to her mother was along the lines that she would never change her story.

Now this is is usefull information because it tells of her character and credibility, it also makes her actions of seeking out the media and her reaons for doing so alot more clear.

There’s nothing in that video that gives her any credit… it’s in the Libyan dialect: Unless you expect people on a conspiracy website to turn off their brains and believe reports from the daily mail.
