We are all aware of the preservatives they put in our food - of all the junk that does heaven knows what to us. Here the Daily Mail shows just how
fresh (not) our food is by the time it reaches the supermarket.
Bearing in mind the cost of transport and the damage to the environment (radiation does count) then surely this is a good example of why we should get
back to basics not only in the kitchen (if we have the time) but to also shop local and whenever possible Grow Your Own - (if it isn't illegal)

I wonder how long it is since we ate anything not filled with junk and dangerous chemicals?
