Has Libya Got the Bomb?

Many people have been scratching their heads over events in the North Africa ?Middle east recently.
Why this very swift move to enforce a no fly zone in Libya?
Why were the little people in Egypt allowed to be big people ?
Could it be the reason is the most logical?
China and Pakistan have been known to share their know how to their friends.
Could it be Libya and Egypt somehow have acquired Nuclear Missiles ?

No. Libya supplies france with copious amounts of oil. Mess with that and get bombed.

Maybe a few, but definitely not a big and advanced enough nuclear arsenal to threaten any major countries. We should be more concerned over bigger powers disagreeing over the events in the MIddle East and going to war with each other, all world wars started with events that people first thought would stay local.

No, Libya doesn't supply France with much oil at all. Most of its European export goes to Italy.

The difference between Libya and Egypt is that the Egyptian government didn't vow to eradicate the protestors, and never bombed Tarhrir Square.

Perhaps even one missile would be enough in many peoples eyes considering Israel has many, and any Nuke detonation in the Middle East could trigger ww3, considering China likes Libyas oil.
Perhaps Libya got the bomb for trading cheap oil? with China?

If Libya has Nukes and perhaps now even Egypt, then this would panic many ,and that is an undserstatement.

It makes sense of all the events occurring.

One question though , where would they hide the missiles in the land of the Pyramids?

Something else to keep in mind is that Italy is one of the nations in the EU that is in a delicate economic situation. Any real increase in oil prices or disruption in supply could cause almost catastrophic damage to their economy. If I remember correctly Italy was in the group of high danger nations that Greece, Ireland, and Portugal were in along with Spain.

As far as the OP's question. My opinion is that its doubtful that he has weapons of a caliber to be used on the battlefield. It is possible though that he has the capability to supply a low yield or a dirty bomb to an effort to attack one of the coalition nations. The problem with this is that the most likely culprit al Qaeda is linked more with the rebels according to reports, though I'm sure that if such a device were on the line that could be overlooked.

At this point though it would be impossible to move if it were any bigger than a backpack or suitcase as you can bet the US has every potential sight under watch by satellite, drone, or special forces. At that size you can't provide enough shielded to completely screen the device from being detected.

Libya doesn't have squat.

All their military hardware is 1950's technology...and they have very very little of it.

saudi Arabia has nuclear bombs. They financed the Pakistani nuclear bomb program in exchange for a few toys of their own to keep America from invading them from Diego Garcia and Europe.

A few US allied middle eastern countries might have opted to have a secret Hydrogen Bomb program for the eventual day we get around to toppling them. Those are much eaiser to make without someone knowing you have them. Plus they're stronger.

Libya couldn't make squat. Just like Iran can't figure out how to turn their crude oil into gasoline. They are not intelligent people.

I am sure the US goverment will tell that little white lie in the near future .You know WMD's, we know were they are in the East,West,South and North. They are under schools and hospitals ,but they are only a threat during peak hours and they have little one's in prams
