A Look Inside The Worlds Most Dangerous Volcano - Nyiragongo located in Congo.

When i read this article is fascinated me because due to internal conflict within their country no one has really been able to research this volcano and see what its all about.


Nonetheless there are some interesting pictures from outside and inside the volcano. Figured it was worth taking a look at.

awesome pics! someone made a good point in the comments on the link; in 2011, why do we still have major population centers built up around huge volcanoes. This isn't the only place on earth where you could say "if conditions X, Y, and Z are met, these people would be screwed." You'd think we'd learn from stories like Pompeii and the Japanese earthquake!
