Dreamed About Alien Invasion Last Night

This is so embarrassing because I don't believe in dreams, predictions, prophesies, omens or any of that kinda stuff. However, I honestly did have an actual alien invasion dream last night, so I thought I'd share the tiny bit I remember (I can only assume there was more meat to it while I was dreaming, but I only remember fragments of my dreams if I remember anything at all.)

It was storming in real life with thick and bright lightning that was scaring the crap out of my lab. In the dream, it was like this. Went outside and the immediate sky was pretty much full of aliens/alien ships. They kinda looked like the replicators from the Stargate SG-1 television show. On the show, these things were constantly moving within themselves. In my dream, they were moving like that, while hovering still. They did not have any appendages like in this picture ... they were pretty much squarish/rectangularish.

I believe they were shooting brightly-colored lasers down to the ground and I believe, though I'm not sure, that I ascertained they were killing people. Somehow I wound up with a couple of other people I didn't know and my dog in an urban area (the dream started out in my front yard which is suburban).

We felt the need to get inside a skyscraper to avoid being killed. I believe people were running around like chickens separated from their proverbial heads.

We did so and, I don't know why, but felt it imperative to get into the elevator and ride to the top of the building, which we did. We got out and were more or less level with the aliens/alien machines now. One would have thought they could have seen us and would have killed us, but they did not. We hid behind like some sort of thing you'd find on top of a skyscraper ... like an HVAC unit or something.

Eventually the laser killing stopped and when we went to look out, they were all gone. We went back to the lobby of the building.

Me and my dog left the other people and went down a corridor, winding up in a maintenance-kinda room. Then, I remember feeling terrified ... don't know if I thought aliens were on the ground now and were going to come and get us or if I was worried about zombies or what. But the room was kinda like the trash room in Star Wars and I hid me and my dog as best I could - though I remember being scared to death my dog would make too much noise and we'd be found out or something.

That's really all that I remember happening. Kinda a bummer, huh? But I can't believe I actually had an alien invasion dream.

Does your dog appear in a lot of your dream? If not, maybe it is significant.

Crazy dream!

I don't remember very many dreams. If he's been in one before, I don't remember it. Don't tell me if that's a bad sign or something ... not that I believe in dream interpretation.

Dreaming is an important function of the brain. They're fun, too.

I just never remember having dreams with any of my pets in them. It seems like a cool thing.

Interesting.
I have had ,maybe in the past three weeks,
very vivid dreams.
They always occur when I wake up an hour or two before I usually get up.
I have never done that.
They occur after I fall back asleep.
Sometimes I recognize the people, and sometimes I do not.
Most of it seems to be around the fact that we are helping each other after something
happened and the various situations involved with that.
Like after a natural disaster or something.
It involves gathering resources, planning that kinda thing.
I need to write them down after I wake up,cause I feel like I'm still there.
But I'm always rushed in the morning.
Maybe we need to start a thread on here to,like just post your dream,no matter how crazy it is.
While it's still fresh in your mind.
