I just really have to get this off my chest so please, bare with me a moment, I was going to post this as a response to some members dancing around in glee as tensions rise between nations but it would be deleted as 'off topic'.

I sometime really do believe most of the members here are salivating all excited at the idea of WW3 happening.
It reminds me of Christian fundamentalists that rejoice when a natural disaster that kills thousands of innocent people coincides vaguely with a passage in the Bible that points to doomsday countdown.
I am starting to believe in 2012, not because of a Mayan calendar or some supernatural destiny based on Aliens and ghosts but because I feel if enough people treat the world like we are in end times then the rest of the world will help pull the thread to unravel the tapestry of the world and life itself.

If I knew when the end of the world was because I was shown it in some supernatural way I certainly wouldn't be telling anybody because I wouldn't want them getting excited everytime something bad happened to scream in glee that it was a sign of things to come, I wouldn't be smug because I was in on the situation and my only concern would be how we could completely avoid the situation if it was indeed possible which I believe would be the case otherwise we aren't responsible for anything as it was destiny anyway.

As an agnostic I do ponder the idea of a God or Gods, and I know if I was sat watching the Earth and the way everyone is behaving I would want to do an etch-a-sketch and just shake it and start again or send enough warnings as I could, some might argue that is why there are so many natural disasters shaking the Earth lately.
Shame on me for not being smart enough or rich enough to get into politics and rise to 'power' and shame on those that are for not using the opportunity to fix the world and shame on us all for allowing the only people to take control of situations to be the rich greedy fatcat bullies who have zero concern for anything but the here and now and lavish lifestyle of luxuries and power trips.

Thread is to vent on doomsday worshippers both on this site, people you know personal (name no names), TV personalities and politicians, warlords and leaders.

I can hardly wait till it comes so they will all get what they "THINK" they want..It will be a totally different story when it does happen thought..You can bet on that...It gonna be no fun having to hide to sleep, steal to eat, and to keep yourself from roaming bands of idiots just waiting to kill you and take everything you've got...You better hope it NEVER comes to this !!!

This is one of the problems, they really do seem to think it will be like Fallout 3 and will have infinite spawn points and if you get radiation sickness its nothing a little rad away wont fix, or that they can just sit at their PC watching the world be destroyed because they can't really associate what they see on a screen with what is outside the door.
I know when I have been a bit of a hermit and spent far too much time at the PC and not enough time in the real world I start to lose touch with reality, so I take a BIIIIIG walk and mingle with other people to wake myself from the matrix a little, some would argue you have to do the opposite too, which I agree with, just try and balance the two.

Sounds like being homeless.

Maybe I should start practicing now.

I don-t think they are happy about the idea of WW3, I think they just have come to accept it, as I have, I know the world as we know it is going to end during my lifetime, and it would be disappointing if it doesn't because I have prepared for that moment
