I remember september 11 2001, i was in second grade and i couldn't believe it when i heard what happened, my father worked in a building a block away from the WTC. Later that night while my family was gathered around the tv watching the news, i remember an overwhelming surge of emotions come over me. I started yelling and crying, reapeating "I don't want to go to war"

10 years later it seems as though i may very well be going to war in the next two years. But for who's cause?

I'll start with the economy. It's no secret we're in debt, it's also no secret that we have literally no solution for the debt. Ohio democrat Dennis Kucinich was on fox news this morning and although i can't find the direct quote it is along the lines of 'Our government is willing to cut funding to education (mainly) and we've just gotten ourselves into a situation that is going to cost 9 billion. 9,000,000,000 dollars in the next 180 days.' So screw the budget, screw the debt, we have a war to fight right? Furthermore, Qaddafi has vowed that this will not be a 'quick' war, and judging by our recent history in the middle east, it probably will turn out to be a long, and endless money pit that will probably result in a scorched country full of unhappy citizens and maybe a new democratic government. Like Iraq and Afghanistan, because everyone is really happy over there too, the United States really just saved the day (sarcasm)

Next, Education. Recently in NAT GEO im sure many of you took a nice look at the poster that separated humans into four groups based on wealth, living conditions, wealth, uh wealth, oh and education. So basically what is happening to the world is that while the educated group is expanding rather slowly, the lower sects of our population are growing at an out of control rate (4 children per family as opposed to 1.5). So now we're just breeding a bunch of ignorant people to take up space and resources on our planet, eventually contributing to our downfall because let me be realistic for a minute, hope is lost for most of those people. Now obviously this doesn't have much to do with Lybia, but this is a terribly pressing concern, so lets go join another war, so people like me can die for a cause i don't believe in, while the rest of the world is spiraling further and further away from happy control. For example, Bangladesh; one of the most densely populated area of the world, horribly uneducated, and the population is expanding like wildfire, tell me people why have we allowed this to happen? Oh right, Bangladesh is also on a flood plain, so if the NWO wants to use the HAARP to make a tsunami, there's yer target. Now an example we could possibly relate to more, 15 miles away from where i sit is one of the most dangerous places in new jersey, if these people want to fight and kill eachother all the time why am i wasting my tax dollars to support them, send them to war they obviously don't need a reason to fight.

Finally, Repercussions of our recent military stint. Quick scenario; this war in Lybia goes on for years, we pour billions of dollars into it, and our national debt spirals further and further out of control. So now the government cuts more funding for education, i don't get to go to college because my dad lost his job during the recession, (the feds stop giving FASFA loans) and the same fate happens to many other american kids, thus, another generation of potential has been wasted because of the aggressive nature of our government. Second, The United States is becoming overwhelmed with conflict, if someone wanted to attack us this would probably be their best chance. Third, natural disaster, look at the sun, and look at our electrical grid; we haven't even neared solar maximum yet and other the past couple of months we've witnessed two massive x-ray flares. So 2012, our military is on foreign soil, the sun unleashes a massive flare, we lose power for months, millions die, and all our children missed out on the education they deserved so now we're all screwed.

All i ask is that we start using our voice. the united states government is still nothing without the citizens behind it. I'm not saying preach my word (because i know i'm a kid and im overwhelmed with hormones) but i do know that we all need to find our own, because the greatest dangers do not come from outside forces but the decisions we allow others to make for us, can 1 government control 300,000,000 people? no, is everyone being heard? no. You have got a good head on your shoulders their. I know it is tough with what is going on but at least you are aware of many of the problems. All I can really recommend it to just take things a step at a time, have some goals but keep your head up.

thanks, it's just really saddening that i feel as though i'm one of the only people (at my age at least) who finds something wrong with this, i sit in school and everyone is just oblivious to what is happening to the rest of the world, i mean do we need a tsunami here on the east coast to wake everyone the **** up? i hope not..
