I was trying to get my kids together and get out of Florida, their father was out of the state in my dream. What happened was we (my youngest daughter & I) were heading by a nearby beach that is between here and my older daughter's friend's house on our way to get my older daughter, I assume. I got the sense we were being evacuated and it was urgent. While passing the beach I could see very large waves, humongous. Me and my youngest daughter got out of the car because I knew at this point that it was too late and if we stayed in the car it would be somehow worse. I can assume that I had left my eldest, my son, home to gather our provisions, so that is why he was not with us. I knew in my bones a huge tidal wave was coming. (I keep seeing 33 ft or I heard on a radio that in the dream, but I can't be sure.)

The next day, My husband, their father got a call from his sister to go to NJ and work on her kitchen to make some money.

Well now he is going to be out of the state from March 22, 2011 to until I think April 1, 2011.

I am not saying this is definately a prediction, I hope to God it isn't. But, just in case, I do know a few important things: It was broad daylight. It had to be a weekend day because of there being school during the week, so my daughter would only be at her friends during the weekend. So it's this coming this weekend (the 25th or the 26th, but keep seeing the 26, I think I saw the date on the GPS in My car, but again I am not 100%) if it is indeed anything like a prediction. With all the Earthquakes taking place in Kansas, though this is getting very scary.

Remember I am not saying at all this is in fact a prediction. All I am relaying is a very scary, very vivid dream that partly has come to be since the dream (the part about my husband being away). I am not going to feel stupid or a fool if it doesn't come true, honestly I will just be relieved! So commentors just remember I am not saying this is 100% a predictive dream, just a very odd thing for me. But, remember before this dream I had heard about the Tsunami in Japan, so it could have been that event that triggered it and it may just be my way of processing the event. So please do not flame me!!!! I honestly do not claim any psychic ability whatsoever. I used to be when I was much younger, but have "grown" out of it.

However if there is an Earthquake in Florida, Louisiana, or the center of the gulf at any time between now and the 26th, my butt is taking my kids out of Florida immediately and heading to NJ! Because I rather be safe than sorry!

Please tell me this cannot happen. Thank you.

Sounds like a disturbing dream. It's a shame you feel so concerned about how ATS'rs will react to your dream post, but with all the attacks OP's have been getting for posting anything in the periphery of Japan/predictions, I understand your concern. ATS has become a vicious place as of late.

I can only say that it if you watched TV/video of the Japan tsunamis, it makes perfect sense that you would incorporate those scary images into a dream and apply it to your situation. Though the coincidence that your spouse will be leaving soon as it would match the scenario in the dream could be interpreted as significant.

There is a lot of fear as of late, so just roll with it, be as prepared as you can be, but don't worry too much.

That's it I only heard it on the radio, never watched any videos of the Tsunami in Japan, and never actually saw any tsunami. This was really scary. I really really hope that it can't happen to me it just seems there wouldn't be enough water in the gulf to make any real large tsunamis. But I am no scientist either.

Okay, well, did you watch TV footage of the 2004 tsunami in Indonesia? Have you ever seen any footage of any tsunami EVER?

I Only sawever saw what the aftermath looked like in both cases. But I was reading up about them last night (tsunamis) and scientists have issued warnings in some places I didn't even know about right after the one in Indonesia. One of those places is Florida. I do have to say for like forever I have had dreams about water, like for years now and never like that. Usually it's just a theme in the dream I am either swimming in a pool, in the ocean, or standing on a beach and looking at the ocean, but all calm all normal. I had only two dreams like this ever one: I had in NJ when I still lived there, just a pier collapsing, choppy waves but not like anything big just a storm that never happened, and this one. So it probably is just a dream. And all the talk on the radio about all the stuff happening in Japan.
Here's the article I read though, that really prompted me to even post my dream: 2005 article
US Scientists Issue Tsunami Warning

Of course that article is from 2005 and I have seen no update at all. So that's probably because they found they were wrong. I am hoping!

All I really want to know is if anyone else in the Gulf area had any dreams similar? I seen a few people mention dreams of this nature, but don't know where they are located. Of course except the one person who posted on feb 17th about Japan and they were dead on. Also if anyone in the Gulf of Mexico area who is nauseous, dizzy, having a mood swing, etc? I would like to hear what others in my area are experiencing if anything. Thank you Very Much.

I thought that was a very rational post about what was probably a jarring experience for you, especially since it involves your kids. I don't believe in prophecy, but I've definitely had vivid, wildly fantastic dreams that lay heavily on my psyche for a while (I had one recently). Let's hope there's nothing to the prophecy bent of this.

Thanks, it was most likely just a very scary dream!!! I don't see anybody else coming here with similar dreams from this area of the globe. Probably because the Japan thing really got under my skin. To think that it could happen at anyplace at any given time, worked on my subconcious fears, etc. You know it's odd though I have gone several months with no recall of dreaming then that one happened now I am recalling more dreams since. But not last night, I have no recall of any dreams last night. That's good news to me though.

Florida huh?
Big wave,. on the east coast?
If so,. the only thing I could think of in that part of the ocean
that would cause a catastrophic wave would be the Canary Islands.
As this area of the African coast line is where a volcano is slipping towards the ocean,.
It has been a fear(slight) if the area had a large quake, could cause the volcano to slide
into the Atlantic.
From what I have read, it could cause a wave of 30 feet or more high.wet.kuleuven.be...

But something else to consider.
Events like the Japan quake and Tsunami really stick in the mind and can cause dreams.
Ever dream of a movie after watching it?

The Cell once when I was on Paxil and Ambien.
. But this was the Gulf coast, I live west side of Florida. But I do think the Japan Earthquake is probably the cause, as I knew people living (relatives) in the Phillipines and I know people who have travelled to China frequently, however no one I know in Japan, just devastating the idea it can hit and out of the blue, the fragility of our lives, how vulnerable we are, etc. Even if California gets hit I am not so sure Florida would be affected, and I have heard that Jim Berkley has predicted between 3/19 and 3/26 this year is when he suspects California is going to have an Earthquake. I don't put much stock in it, and like I said, it most likely would not affect us and not that soon if it even did.

I know I've not updated, so I thought I would. Thankfully the dream was just that a dream. I feel confident that nothing really disastrous is going to happen to the West Coast of Florida. But, this dream was really scary and vivid. But since it didn't happen when I thought it would then I must be wrong. Oh well.
