Looking at the usgs earthquake site at the quakes in Canada, northern Alabama, Arkansas, over to Texas, over to New Mexico...why does it look like a
swooping line? Could this be a line that could "crack" so to say, break apart?
I don't know..it just caught my eye. Just throwing that out here to discuss.
I'm not quite seeing the line from Canada here but I do see the US Rocking quite a bit more these days. The EQ's, although usual in these areas, are
increasing in intensity and frequency it seems.
USGS site has this link posted: newmadrid2011.org...
Interesting in context OP, especially with MC243 making news. "...great 1811 and 1812 New Madrid earthquakes that forever changed the mid-western
landscape. These quakes were felt across the U.S. and as far south as the Gulf of Mexico, and as far north as Canada...."
Global Incident map (quakes.globalincidentmap.com...) gives nice graphic to fuel speculations. Go back to the date 9.1 Japan event and note that
the US tremor activity has been spreading east since then.
