The Rebels Have Their Own Jets ?

Ok does anybody else see the relevence of this comment pasted below ?, what the hell is going on ? We are being lied too !

A jet also appears to have been shot down over Benghazi. A rebel spokesman was quoted as saying the downed jet was a rebel plane.

So the rebels have jets ? This changes things and leaves alot of unanswered questions .1 Where did they get them from ? 2. Just who's jets have we been seeing supposedly attacking civilians ? 3.Has what we been shown and led to believe genuine ? 4. How do a small group of rebels afford multi-million dollar jets or who gave them ?
5.Are these the very jets that are claimed to be attacking the civillian and rebel zones ?

Someone posted a youtube clip yesterday of a jet being shot down over Benghazi yesterday Could somebody please embed it for me ? This was taken before allied intervention ,it depicts a jet being shot down at extremely high altitude over Benghazi .It does not seem likely that the rebels would be able to take it out at such height . This leads me to believe that it is the very plane that the rebel leader claims was lost and it was Gaddaffi's forces that took it down !

Also you will notice that the French forces are quoted in the linked article that they destroyed a number of tanks, since when did tanks fly ?

They got them ( 3 of them ) from pilots that defected from the side of Gadaffi to the side of the rebels.

From my understanding the French fighter jet was shot down while they were taking out tanks and other targets. The tanks are on the ground!!! I would think the jets that the rebels could use would be provided by Gaddaffi. Also here shortly what ever jets or anti air craft weapons the rebels have will no longer be operational.

Slow down everybody , I am asking are these the jets being used for the video's justifiying this war in the first place ? Has it been propaganda ? The motto of this site is deny ignorance is it not ? I am just asking people to make educated deductions and think things through .We are all here because we know things are not right and not everything in this world is what it seems .So I am just putting it out there for analysist of the ATS family think tank .This post doesn't need of the cuff remarks .Analyse and and deduct your conclusions .
As for my remark about about tanks , I am implying that this is already going outside the dimensions of a no flyzone and it is only day one .

I hear ya.

You're right...tanks don't fly. That's silly.

There's nothing I think to identify either side of rebel and Gadaffi planes from eachother so anything could be going on.

Rebel planes are from ex Gadaffi pilots who defected and joined the rebels.

I think rebels had 2 planes then this one went down. 1 left and I doubt it'll fly again.

UPDATE.

NO French planes shot down. All returned to base.

I see your point, if the rebels are defected members of Libya's military, then how do we know they are not killing the civilians? How can the world distinguish between the rebels and Libyan military?
