Am I the only one who is sickened by the reporters actions in Japan? I try to get a rounded view of the news and therefore flick from channel to channel in order to do so.

The more I look at the MSM the more I am disgusted by their ways of reporting. I am from the U.K and I am ashamed at the way Sky news fly their top presenters out to the scene of the tsunami and point out the number of fish they come across. The number of cars piling up amongst the debris and being told that they haven't been driven there.

A CBS news reporter decided to rifle through the devastation and flick through a photo album depicting a whole history of a family, how insensitive can you get?

Can these reporters please be sent back home and report the unfolding tragedy from the desks? The Japanese people are sensitive, private people, yet these journalists feel obliged to pillage through the debris in order to reinforce the pain they are feeling.

How would you like your personal belongings are rifled through and shared with the world?

It sickens me, but how do you feel?

I vote to send that sensationalistic-fear mongering Anderson Cooper back to the US or whatever hole he crawled out of.

Im disgusted with the media to. Most of the time.
I understand how one could be disgusted by the reporter showing the photo album.
But showing a photo or an album of a family might make people realise that this tragedy IS REAL, and that Real People have been affected.
I think some people that haven't taken notice of this disaster might just pay attention after seeing that.

I agree with you

Ps In also worried about Some of these reporters that have been sent into this radioactive eye of the storm.
I understand that this is there job, But would they be over there if they knew the full extent of the nuclear disaster now unfolding.

I don't have TV so the only fear-mongering I am getting is right here on ATS and it is enough to make me puke. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the action by those that stepped up to tell it as it was happening, but the future-fear-factor has reached an all-time high with such speculations and zero facts.

I do appreciate those that are watching their Geigers. I do appreciate those who speak about what we can do and what we shouldn't do. I just hate to read lies based on unsubstantiated facts, such as the Air Force Post that someone heard from a friend of a friend. A Blog is basically a point of view or an expression of the individual's thoughts and nothing more.

Bill Nye is scared, so what! So am I but I am not going to feel better by hearing ridiculous claims with no facts. The Mods here have done a ridiculous job on this one, that is my opinion, they don't want to miss out on dropping what could be something truthful so they let it just linger like a fart under water! IMO! I say drop the non-credibles and bring them back if they do become credible. No one will miss out on their "stars" or their "flags", heck I will give them a kiss if they find the truth and present it, even if it is my last kiss!
