New Member, excited to find like-minded people

I found this site a few days ago after watching a documentary on Netflix 'In Plane Sight', which was awesome, by the way!

Anyways, I've been glued to the forums here since. I feel a true awakening inside of me, and I find it very comforting to find like-minded people.

I have a long history of 'strange' happenings: a premonition of a pet's death when I was 9yrs old, I've witnessed paranormal activity first-hand, I have had an alien encounter (not sure if it was a lucid dream or if it was real), I've experienced several OOBEs, & have a profound interest in ancient aliens.

I look forward to learning & exploring. Thank you for creating this forum!

Remember the search bar, took me about a month before I realized it's many wonders. Also heed the specific forums, top flags and replies. You'll find many things, evidence for theories that may not have even crossed your mind up until you found the thread.

Welcome,things on ATS can be heated,extreme and rhetorical at times but it is allways best to remember it is a discussion forum and each member has their own point of perspective and ,infact alot can be contributed to understanding the odd world we all live in ,especially of late.
Sometimes as members ,even myself, can get way out there,sometimes members can remain level headed, overall extreme events ,extreme claims ,will attract extreme rhetoric,and cooling of is required.
Otherwise ATS is quite topical ,critical,inciteful,enlightening,and interesting at times.Other times ,ridiculous, pendantic,but we can`t have it all ways,just keep in mind and remain cool,and remember not everybody has the same viewpoint

Dude... I am honestly shocked that you just found this site. I could not imagine discovering ATS now, after so much has happened even just this last decade. Wow. I am a newb by ATS time standards, but Ive been trolling these boards for ages. If you have a question about any specific topic, or would like good reference material for any topic, feel free to send me a message. I got a lot of good stuff, some of it from here, most of it from elsewhere.

I'de imagine if your just discovering ATS, you aren't really "familiar" with UFO & GOV/SCI conspiracies and theories, since ATS pops up on google for nearly anything crazy thing you search. Like I said, if thats the case feel free to send a message for any quick, specific info.

Thanks so much for the warm welcome! And yes, I can't believe I have just found this forum, too! I usually gather most of my "info" from books & TV documentaries. That's how I got drawn here -- thru the documentary that I had mentioned. I was super-intrigued & glad my search pointed me here!

I think I've never done more to research my personal encounters because of fear of the unknown. I watched that movie 'The Fourth Kind' and I don't care if it was a movie or not, I'm still so freaked out -- I won't even research more into it! Fear has kept me at arm's length from a lot of this stuff, but I've suddenly felt much more relaxed with these topics. Every evening when I go to bed now, I tell myself that it's okay to dream & explore.

Needless to say, I've been slightly obsessed for a couple weeks now. I'm hoping to not freak out my friends & family too much...by all accounts I'm 'relatively' normal.... I have a feeling my 4 & 5yr old daughters will be like me though because they're interesed in all the documentaries I watch (especially those on ancient cultures) & they frequently like to play spaceship & alien. LOL

OL is sure a mod will be along soon to help out with an informative post etc. I also recommend utilizing the green chat voyuer function on the ATS tool bar to the bottom of most ATS webpages [aka the ribbon]!
