I'm fairly educated on all threat subjects going on in Japan, and have been following every day and every update.
But lately every threat has been either down played or dying, some examples;

The after shocks are dropping in magnitude (Not one above 6.0 today I believe)
The after shocks are receding along the Ring of Fire (Less places getting hit along fault lines)
The Nuclear Threat Warnings are almost un-spoken of anymore on the news.
Radiation from Plants rapidly decreasing back to normal (According to news)

So is it over? What's your guys opinions?

Well it's definitely not over for Japanese people.
All victims are not found yet.
Also there's tons of rubble. Rebuilding process will take a while.
Nuclear facilities are not safe yet.

I doubt and hope there will not be major earthquakes in Japan any time soon.

Several more reactor cores are overheating (=potential meltdown & breach) due to insufficient water supply. Unfortunately you just can't switch them off.

There will also be more aftershocks and while their buildings are particularly well built, to survive quakes, the damage may already have been done and the building structures dangerously weakened.

Thanks for correcting me, I understand the Japanese have a long road ahead of them, and it is not close to over for them.
There was no ignorance intended.
Also, if a Mod sees this could you move this to the appropriate spot?
I accidentally posted this in the incorrect section.

I heard 11 reactors shut down and 6 are having emergencies.
That was a report from Japan and they aren't saying much.
As for quakes there have been plenty! And strong - they must
be causing more damage and emergencies.

Welcome to ATS - hope to see you on the threads.
