With all that is going on in Japan, there are good news stories coming through.

This gentleman was rescused nine miles off the coast of Japan, clinging on to the roof of his house that had been washed out when the tsunami receeded.

A happy event amongst the devastation that is unfolding.

Can you imagine his thoughts...

I trust we could/will hear more of others as well.. We already know the worst part is come!
I'm certain from the fallout still accuring... Damn!

It weakens me to know this.

YAY!! I love stories like this! Against all odds this gentleman survives one of the world's most horrific disasters and lives to tell the tale. Hurray for Mr. Hiromitsu Shinkawa!

His wife is still missing though. I'm crying a little bit.

Go ahead, it's a heart warming story and enough to bring a tear to almost anyone's eye.

Man thats incredible...
But although many may say he is a very lucky guy,I doubt he feels lucky with his wife missing and country annihilated by nature.
Just goes to show,if its not your time to go you can survive against almost unfathomable odds.
Poor people, having to deal with the aftermath.
