Japan's Earthquake, Who's To Blame?

The greedy electric company that operated the nuclear power facility that is melting down should be forced to pay!

They should have to set aside 20 billion for the victim's of this disaster! Just think of all the poor people that will all have to move now. They should cover the expense of their relocation. All the business's that are going to suffer losses should be able to sue! The people that built that reactor knew full well that it was built in the middle of an earthquake pron location and should have installed better safety equipment!


















See how stupid that sounds? Well you asked the same from BP didn't you? They had no control over a pressure wave that was caused by natural forces...

Uhm... Not that I'm a huge fan of corporations OR nuclear energy, but... it was a 9.1 earthquake. I mean that's kind of the definition of "act of god," there's no way you can secure against something like that. That the whole place is as safe and secure as it is, is something of a small miracle, in fact.

As for your later, edited-in point? BP's break was caused by BP's negligence and shoddy construction materials. Not a 9.1 earthquake, not a 5.0 hurricane. Just BP and its contractors cutting corners and being slobs. So really, piss off with that.

Your title isn't even related to your post/point/question. You want to blame someone or somebody for the radiation leaks, but that's different then blaming someone for an eathquake.

Do you even know what your trying to say? You appear to be quite confused.

NOBODY ITS NATURE !!! Earthquakes are a natural phenomena caused by shifting geologic plates in the earths crust.. Really wish people would remember basic science.. Lastly throughout history japan has been subject to earthquakes. The japanese people adapted and learned to live with earthquakes. Growing up they learn what to do during and after a quake. Buildings in japan are designed to withstand quakes.

What outrage ? It was a bloody super quake that could have wiped most of the Japan island with it , and You want a company (any company for that matter) to be prepared for something like that ? I say they were pretty well prepared, seeing as the plant still stands and did not blow during the earthquake.

Do You even know what you are writing about ? How can You expect to blame anybody (besides God , if you believe in one), for a natural disaster?.

Jeez ,people I know the popular trend here is blame somebody else for pretty much anything from a bad paycheck to a twisted ankle, but do we have to go over this with a bloody natural disaster ?

The CEO's of those company's should have their heads severed with a Samaria sword on public television then their Accounts should be zeroed out so their offspring cannot profit from their assault on everyone who lives on the Earth.

I feel bad for the people of Japan and wish them all the best, but there is a level of greed in Japan that we have seen time and time again in Japans corporate culture which is unacceptable to the world.

The fact that Japanese corporations, their regulatory commission and their politicians have been lying to the people of Earth since the beginning of this disaster hoping to cover it up and get away with as much as they can. They have been lying to everyone about what is happening at the reactors should be a clue that they are trying to cover up their shortcomings or mistakes that just like BP has been made in order to gain larger profits at the expense of the Japanese peoples who will have to give up their homes and the rest of the planet that will spend years and years dealing with their mess.

We only have one planet to support the human race and we cannot allow our only home to be destroyed just to satisfy the greed of a few.

Enough excuses. I'm certain that if and when a complete investigation is done they will find that more than just design flaws

Forced to resign, the poor bastard - he should at the very least be facing criminal charges. Notice that his name is not even available in this article, perhaps because it is nested a level or two deeper than available because of the protection Corporate CEO's & Presidents are given by either the government or corporate media.
