Wouldn't be the first time I was wrong. At least I wasn't claiming it was an E.T. surveying the disaster (not saying you were). My response was pretty grounded in reality and not a bad guess based on the crappy footage. I stand corrected and happily so.

I did not see the earlier thread but I just looked at the first video again and it does seem to come out of the water area. Also how close was it to the ground? If it is not too much trouble could you mention how it was determined to be another helicopter. I am not disputing your claim at all, I was just curious. It did look strange at first glance anyway.

I would saw they are not hiding as much as usual it seems, although keep in mind there were a lot of cameras that day.

Still a good eye. That is how the process should be, you see something unidentifiable, show it and then figure out what it is. I don't feel bad about the flag I gave you, good eye just the same.

When I see the first vid. It looks like its way too close to the ground like its zipping right on it or right above it, as I see it go over obstacles...?

Watch the video....you will see a white helicopter clearly pass by...the youtube vid is compressed and makes it harder to identify...the video on the BBC site is the same footage but a lot better quality

You see the helicopter appear from the left at about 52 seconds

Around my parts we call helicopters "birds", so you weren't to far off.
