Hello ATS

Hi, I've been lurking and enjoying the site for a while, now, and figured it was time I got a login so I could join in a bit with the discussions that really interest me. (I'm not promising to be insightful or worth listening to ;-) )
Anyhow, I'm in the UK, 40s, married, have kids, a cat and a dog. I work in the public sector (nothing fancy or nefarious, just my business). To chill out I ride my Harley (yep, even in the rain), play guitar, read, paint and lose myself in music.

This is my intro, there are many like it, but this one is mine.

Welcome, I'm Nige the Norwich area, maybe picking your brains in the future, seriously considering getting myself a Harley, can't even ride a bike yet LOL!!! I'm 43 so have a few years left to learn.

Hi Nige, My first bit of advice to you is do it now, every year they make the test tougher, add a few more hoops for us to jump through in order to get a licence. If you wait too long you may just have a test which lasts a year and costs you 10 grand. Get your licence, do your DAS then save up for the bike.

Oh, and join MAG, too.
