Ok, I'm gonna try and make my very first own prediction here.
It's based on gathering info from around the internet and then connecting the dots.
Nothing fancy like getting it in dreams or beeing spoken to by God himself

* I predict there will be another big quake (possible 7.0+) around the Christchurch area in New Zeeland and a rather big one (5.0+) in Arkansas sometime between 15-23 march.

I base this on the fact that both regions have been fairly active lately and I predict that the full moon perigee the 19th of march will trigger these events (+- 4 days).
In fact Christchurch have been quakestruck every perigee moon since september 2010 so it's no shocking predicition to say that it would occur again during this next (and very powerful) fullmoon perigee.
You just have to find the info, think logical and connect the dots.

I just have to add, for everyone's sake I hope I am totally wrong here.
I only wish people the best and God knows the people around Christchurch already had their share of devastating quakes lately.
But the information I collected points me in this direction, so this is what I predict...

A very logical conclusion for you to come to from your research. We wont know until it happens though! I myself have been feeling that we will have many more big ones to come all over the world. I really hope not as its sad when life is lost in these disasters. Buliding can be rebuilt, people cant!

I don't believe this your prediction, I think you have read what Ken Ring has predicted and you think there is credibility in what he is saying? I have just posted a thread regarding the same predictions.

I've never heard of this guy.
Has he also predicted quakes in New Zeeland and Arkansas based on the full moon perigee and the recent activity in those two areas?
That's cool that other people actually think and reason like I do if that is the case.
Even cooler if he's a scientist or something - I'm just a factory worker and we both still came to the same conclusion apparently.
Don't tell him about my prediction here - he might feel like he wasted a couple of years and a good bunch of money on that education haha

Can you please link your thread and I will check it out right after I google this guy up.
I really hope he's a scientist...

So the activity started a little earlier then I expected with the Japan quake recently.
I think we will see at least one more major event in the 2 weeks to come.
Other places to keep an eye on:
Hawaii - recent new lava eruptions may suggest there will be a vulcanic eruption somewhere in the area in the next 2 weeks.
West coast of USA and south-west Canada - recent mass fish deaths outside California may suggest that activity have already started underneath the Juan de Fuca plate and if that plate had a negative inpact from the Japan quake, it may escalate into an earthquake in the area in the next 2 weeks.

We live in interresting (and dangerous) times.

Thats not really research. Thats more of a feeling. Research is the search for knowledge that establishs a fact. You are too vague. Do some more research.

I do research of what I'm saying here.
The problem is that nature is unpredictable.
It's hard to predict a period of time when it is likely to be activity, but it can be done.
It is even harder to say with certainty in what location a quake is about to happen, it's almost impossible.
Some places are more likely then others but one can only really guess well considering locations.

I did predict this next few weeks as a time of big activity (even tho it started a few days earlier then I expected) and I try to pinpoint the locations best I can.
But it's not easy and I'm not a scientist so I guess we will just see what will unfold the next 2-3 weeks.
I'm sure there will be more activity considering the full moon perigee to come, the alignment of the planets and comet Elenin as well as the increased activity of the current solar cycle.

That I guess New Zeeland and Arkansas is only because of the recent activity in those areas and I can't back it up in any other scientific way.
Pinpointing quakes is not an exact science.
If it was then northeast Japan would have been evacuated before the quake.
You can't ask me to present facts that even the scientist can't get...

Christchurch has had earthquakes every day since September 4 2010.

We may have another sizable shake, or we may not. What IS certain is that the Alpine Fault will go sometime.

Please don't even start me on Ken Ring (I know another poster mentioned it). The guy is a snakeoil merchant who revises after the fact and doesn't stand up to scrutiny, plus he is a clown. No, seriously, he is a clown!

Well, Christchurch had a 5.1 the on the 21th and that's a bit beyond your average quake down there.
Actually the second largest this year or something right?
Arkansas had another swarm the 22nd with 14 quakes around Greenbrier and the biggest one beeing 3.3.
That's not entirely normal either.

I might have gotten the magnitude of them wrong, but basically I got the prediction 100% accurate considering dates and places.
Not too bad for a first attempt at this huh?
