My alien encounter

Hi.
I am from Sydney, Australia.

This event occured Wed Oct 16 2008; 8-12pm.

This is my first post on ATS. I guess I'll share my experience in this thread. I was up for a few days without sleep and one night could "feel" an evil presence. I laid down to go to sleep, when I heard a ruffling noise from a bunch off newspapers on the end of the bed. I shot up to my feet and was confronted with a face-hugger, those mustard coloured giant spider-like creatures with a long tail (as seen in the movie "Aliens"; please note that I had watched the movie the night before).

I heard it before I saw it! It was bobbing (very rapidly) from side-to-side as if it was trying to ascertain depth perception between me and it before what appeared to be its' motive - springing onto me.

I, too, was mentally doing the same thing and made the first move to grab it (in the hope of crushing its fingers and bashing it against the metal post of the frame of the bed to induce pain and fear). As I darted forward to grab it, hoping it would be in mid-air, it quickly disappeared under the bed with supernormal speed, almost demon-like.
During this moment I was of course terrified despite my unexpected bravado and apparent skill.

Here is the reality-test/factoids: I heard it before I saw it. It was blurry (I normally wear a hard gas permeable contact lens in one eye) but it was unmistakably akin to the creature from the movies.

Anyway, figuring (subconsciously) that it was bull#, I laid down again to get some shut eye... when I saw a humanoid figure sidling into the room through the door (I was on the second floor of my terrace). The door it entered through led to the rest of my house. The other door, a broken down one, led to the balcony).

This alien was mustard-coloured and without apparel, with a seemingly noble presence.

I shot up again and ran toward the second alien , with my arms ready to grapple/strike.

It either disappeared (hallucination) or used some form of ethereal dimensional transportation. Just as I got near it, it disappeared into the shadows just outside the door.

That's the story.

Some background:

-As I said I had not been sleeping for about a week or so, time seemed to be something I completely ignored, while getting high on feelings of euphoria for no real reason.

-I had not eaten much except some pieces of bread and butter occasionally.

-I was hiding in my cupboard prior to the incident, scared out of my gourde... hearing AEROPLANES flying over the house for about 3 hours. Like I said earlier, I felt "evil" in the air. (I have since become genuinely psychic/precognitive to certain events in my own life, and also, seeing distinctive places in dreams that I later came to visit 2 years into the future - a psych ward with a certain dark look to it which I ended up in just a few months ago - Concord Hospital).

-After leaving the cupboard I had the encounter, but before that I heard on the radio that corrupt federal police had hijacked aeroplanes (while in the cupboard I strongly sensed that those operating the planes were maniacs planning another 9/11 strike).

-I ended up in a psych hospital for 35 days (Missendon Road Psych Unit, the old one next to Sydney University). While in there, I shared a room with someone who, out of the blue, asked me what I saw on Wednesday night, the same night of the alien incident. It turns out that he saw a humanoid alien with a grimace on its' face, with a dirty body.

OK.

Am I nuts? I could see and hear these things with my own senses.

I did feel "evil" in the air... there was the radio report... After leaving the cupboard, I even sensed that my food was laced with poisons from a devious group of people, which I ate anyway, albeit reluctantly (perhaps causing the hallucination). I've since read that the CIA do such things (the also operate abroad on foreign intelligence as a specialised role). They have recently been interacting with/communicating with me in covert and overt (harrassment) ways.

That's all. Thanks for reading. Sorry it was rather long. Please give respond.

Ummm....I'm a bit confused. Do you actually believe this to have actually happened? You said you went back to bed in the middle of it all. We're you assuming it was a hallucination at the time? I'm not sure what kind of response you are looking for here.

hmmm, different to say the least!. you say you seen an alien that resembled the alien out of the movie 'alien'. i hate to break it to you but you sound like you need some help man. that # aint cool and you should see a good doctor, before you totally flip out and do something stupid. it sounds like to me this is all in your head? could you physically touch these beings? could you focus on them like you would a REAL object? do you have a past history with mental illness or were you on drugs? '___'?.

the real daemons are the ones made up, in your head. see a doctor man

also, you said you went back to sleep. i find it hard that anyone could "go back to sleep" after seeing something freaky like that. maybe you were dreaming on the edge of consciousness and you felt like you were awake but you were still dreaming.
edit on 7-3-2011 by 1beerplease because: (no reason given)

ok. why are you creating 2 similiar threads? and is there a tiny possibility that you were high on amphetamine? maybe crack? that would explain you being awake for so long + your pink elephants.

how old are you guys seriously?? something obviously happened and this man is asking for our opinions and you just automatically put him down, and say drugs, mental illness. no. this is a dream state where he has still been vaguely conscious, and seen something his mind has interpreted as real, lack of sleep, and a movie you get into can do this kinda stuff. idiots.

probably to old for this, your right. but in my defence I want to accent some stuff from the OP:

"As I said I had not been sleeping for about a week or so, time seemed to be something I completely ignored, while getting high on feelings of euphoria for no real reason.

-I had not eaten much except some pieces of bread and butter occasionally.

not been sleeping FOR A WEEK.GETTING HIGH on feelings of EUPHORIA. NOT EATEN MUCH. FELT EVIL IN THE AIR.

I'm so sorry for being so ignorant.

Did you read his story that he has been sectioned in a mental hospital - That he is unable to sleep ! that the CIA have been contacting him through operations. That he is unsure whether he was dreaming or not.

As I said there are three good explainations: 1) Sleep deprivation 2) Mental illness 2) Drugs or a combination of all three.

Or in your case perhaps it actually happened !

congratulations! you seem to be able to handle all kinds of drugs.

so? Can you deny that drugs can lead to paranoia and delusion?
A friend of mine got caught on a '___' trip , beat his girlfriend , got her in the car and then drove to a big lake in his area to "find the big bunker that can protect us from armageddon". And he so was convinced about his trip being "the real thing".

Ok, seriously OP.
You are describing symptoms of illness. You need to tell your doctor honestly what is happening.
It may all seem very real but it is an illness called 'psychosis' and it makes your mind play tricks on you.

It can be treated quite easily with the right help.

I have also mixed heavy drugs on more than one occasion, and have also gone without sleep for prolonged periods of time. These visions sound more real than anything I have ever experienced. Sure, i've seen things, but never for more than a second. L.S.D is notouriously hard to get hold of in Australia, and the "acid" we get here , in my experience, doesn't create full blown phsycadelic experiences. I do not believe this is 'real', but its more than just the obvious drug abuse, in my humble opinion.

Proffessional intervention is needed.

In all fairness I believe the OP has done something right in the fact that he/she has come on here and asked for our opinion. OK at first glance we all cry "crazy" or "drugs" but I feel the person themself has been honest and it takes courage to ask for other peoples opinions concerning something that even they are very unsure about !!

I would suggest that you continue to speak to your Doctors as you have been and try not to worry about this and other strange happenings in your life too much. Get some rest and into a good sleeping rhythm and most importantly eat good food to build your strength up.

Well done for coming forward with this and good luck.

P.S: If you have been doing things you shouldn´t of ? then now would be a good time to stop !.
