First they show up and they bring a message. A message of great importance.
A message about love, brotherhood, honesty, resistance against evil.
Then they proclaim where they got the message from. It varies. But it can
be things like:
*Grays
*Pleadians
*Nordics
*Ascended masters
*Whistleblowers
*Illuminati insiders
*Esoteric knowledge
*God and/or spirits and/or angels

The next thing you hear is:
"It's so important that you read my book and/or get my DVD set"

But shouldn't they give this stuff out for free if it's THAT important?!
But then people say: "You know, they have to make a living somehow."
Yeah, and that's exactly what they are doing.

I mean thats just a terrible argument.
Just listen to what they say. They say that they have a
super important message to bring to the world because
they channeled it, were contacted by aliens, spirits or god
or from insiders or wherever they got it from.
But if it's so important an crucial to the faith of humanity
that message x,y or z gets out to people then why not
dedicate your life to it?
We are talking about the faith of humanity here. There is
no time to spare if you are going to save the world.

Get a day job, write the books and make DVD sets on your
spare time and then give them out for free to as many
as you can. I mean, the message is crucial to the faith
of humanity right?
As many as possible should get the books for free so they
can understand what is about to happen.
Give them out for free to poor people who
can't afford them. Aren't they part of humanity and as
important as everyone else? Just because they can't pay
for the book it shouldn't mean that they should be left out.
Or maybe that is exactly what is going to happen.
Maybe because they can't cough up the money for you?

And here is another point.
Most of these people rip on christianity and other religions.
Yeah, I get it. There are big problems with religion but there
are also good sides. Charity for example. That is more than
what these people do.
And if their message from pleadians, blondes, grays, god, spirits,
whistleblowers or whatever is so important then why not try to spread
the message for free like religious people do.
Christians leave free bibles in hotel rooms to spread the message
they say is so crucial to the world. Seems to work for them even
if they do it for free. Small churches even do this. They don't have
much money but they sure are spreading their message.

"But what about those who encurage people to download their stuff
and give it out for free?"
Yes, some of them give out their stuff for free but that is
just because they can afford it.
Afford it?
Yes, afford it. And it brings in revenue too.
Notice that it is the ones who are most successfull that encurage
people to copy their stuff and give it out for free.
Why? Because they can afford it.
But why are they doing it? Free advertisement of course.
Remember, they are catering to a very narrow group and they
want more customers. How do you get more customers?
With advertisement.
Think about it. One person downloads a movie, a book or a seminar
and gives it out to his friends. At least one of them will get hooked.
I mean, don't you think that they have calculated the amount they
will loose on giving out free stuff as an advertisement expence?
And this is good and cheap advertisement too.
It's extremely expensive to buy an ad spot on prime time radio or
TV but give stuff out for free and encurage people to "spread the message",
calculate for the losses and expenses and the advertisement basically takes
care of itself.

Another quick note.
These people also make themselves out to be smarter by using fancy words.
For example:
*Global and/or Cosmic conciousness
*Paradigm
*Quantum
*Matrix

And on and on...Maybe you can come up with more phrases and words yourself.....
Yeah, these are nice words but they really don't mean anything.

A crucial message to humanity.
A sh*tload of books and DVD sets.
A lot of these people are just tricky conmen, hoaxers and snake oil salesmen.
Sometimes it's so irritating you just want to scream.
Beacuse in these cases it's a fact that Pimpin' and/or hustlin' IS easy.

most true prophets and messengers were simple shepards
none of them were rich
none asked for anything.

Evangelical ministries with limos and jets?
Vaticans with moore wealth than whole countries?
Whatever happened to practice what you preach?

God's like a mirror,
They should all go and try bulls&%ting to the mirror.
Deep within, it does not work.

Yes, that is true. But in this thread I wanted to discuss conmen in the conspiracy community.
Most people already know about the corruption in religious institutions.
But it's nice that someone points that out anyway.

Only Religions call forecasters, clairvoyants, seers, prophets and the like...False Prophets

to all us reasonable and secular thinkers, the lot of them are wrapped up in their personal
Belief Systems... whether real/true or not is a subjective judgement...
sure some/few may be hucksters or charlatans, con-men/women...

but most All have at least the talent to temporarily take one out of their normal reality and into a
semi-hypnotic state...your mind and heart listens and is transported to a different state of spirit...

we all do our little bit to help change-the-world in an altruistic sense,
Mother Teresa didn't need to worry about food-shelter-etc, and could concentrate on good works,

the presenters you see at Psychic Fairs and such, that hawk their DVDs & books... have the
expenses of food/shelter/travel/entry fees and all the other attending costs....

Sorry about that.

My point being that they are much the same.
Paranormal studies, and self improvement are magnets for snake oil salesmen.
I doubt they are trying to sell anything original.
They are scum who prey on others.

If they truly believed in what they selling, they would never have considered putting a price on it.

I mean false prophets in the sense that they are aware of the fact that they are lying their as*es off.
Eh.... I knew i shouldn't have used the phrase "false prophets" because now people will just get wrapped up in semantics. Typically ATS....

Very True. Some have abused the Gifts given to them by God, and have sold themselves for Profit. But there...Are...Some....Who WOULD rather give away what they have been Given. It is more precious to give sometimes than it is to get.....
