TRIPOLI, Libya — Libyan rebels have captured a British special forces unit in the east of the country after a secret diplomatic mission to make contact with opposition leaders backfired, Britain's Sunday Times reported.

Well, whatever happens, I really hope the states does not send in ground troops....can't afford it, and the people on both sides of the conflict do not want it. Also, this is going to get very bloody before it is all over (and the problem I see with these rebellions is what is going to take the current regimes place - something good or what usually happens - something a lot worse)

Also would like to throw out that Saudi Arabia is calling up troops (and saying anyone trying to protest will be arrested.

Once this happens, oil is going to skyrocket and goodbye global economy.

Screw gas prices.

My hope is those SAS boys will break out and make it back safely.

My prayers are with them.
