Can you see a gnome in this photo?

Hopefully it was alright that I took the liberty of Contrast/Levels editing the photo for easier viewing. Oddly enough what I found is slightly puzzling. When I changed the contrast of the areas that LastStand circled, I found that the larger "gnome-like" form in the center and the "hooded figure" like forms bare a striking resemblance to each other.

While it's most probably a trick of the light, if you squint just right, it almost looks like two forms in identical robes and breathalyzer type helmets (or having bizarre heads o__o), and both of them carrying a staff or rod of some sort.

As an aside, I'm not claiming to know what is in the image, as it is most likely nothing. I'm just having a bit of fun, while trying to further analyze what appears to me to be in the photo.

I don't know if I would say it is a '' Knome ''. However the grasses bundled together would not make a solid mass without dark rugged features which makes this photo interresting.

Even when manipulating the photo in different ways I see what seems to be that of a solid mass, actually 3 solid masses.

It could be paranormal it could be crypto, I will have to look further,

Be proactive if you really want answers. Go back to the site, investigate, you never know what you may find.

Actually, the film staining in the upper right looks sort of like Mickey Mouse.
Honestly, you can pretty much see anything in anything. Think ink blot or Rorschach test.
I'm not trying to be a smartass here. Just saying I don't see a gnome, but can make out other things.

It's just grass blowing in the wind. That's it!!

Here is a negative where you can clearly see it is not from the grasses nor something that is easily expainable. Also I tested to see if the exposure could have been manipulated which is not the case, pretty interresting!

It does seem like there are some legitimate anomalies within the photo. Although the forms look more like this to me than a gnome...

Edit: I'm not trying to discredit the legitimacy of the original image posted by syntheticbutterfly. I'm just expounding on what it brought to mind.

Even with all the image enhancements and circled images posted, I still can't really see anything. I don't doubt that maybe there might be something there, I just don't see anything myself. But I am tired, so that might be affecting my ability to perceive anything. I need to get more sleep...

I can't understand folk not seeing it either, seeing as it's plain as day! Ok everyone, you are all no doubt looking for a creature with a long grey or white beard, long grey or white hair, with the overall appearance of an old man of around 80 or 90 years. That's what I was looking for at first, then I realised that Gnomes had to have been young at one time, then grew older just as humans do. Now look at the photo again...the Gnome is at the extreme left hand side as you look at the photo, and it's a young one! Case solved, and closed! (for me anyway!)

Yes, I should have said everyone feel free to fiddle with the photo if you think we can discover more. Several of you have spotted the gnome I see - someone circled it as one, which was very nice of them as it was a mission for me to upload this in the first place
To the person who mentioned searching the site where the photo was taken - I know they did go back and didn't find anything(they apparenlty searched quite intensively, thinking maybe it was a doll or suchlike). Obviously many years have gone by since this was taken, and none of us live in UK now so trying to have a look now would be impossible(and the field is probably buried under some vile housing estate).

Oh and just to mention, despite studying the photo for hours over the years I had always felt that the "gnome" (probably bad word choice) was quite distinctive from the other anomolies.
Really excited to see all your theories and feedback - even those of you that can't see anything!

Those anomalies look like weeds to me. Some times they spring up in crops despite all the poison in the world.

Well I've just trawled through this thread waiting for someone, anyone, to show me an image which even resembles a gnome, and nobody has stepped up to the plate... I can't see anything remotely strange in this pic...

No. Aside from a young person, and a bunch of plants in a large farm like field I see nothing. I see more relevance in spotting a bunny rabbit in a cumulus cloud. In fact in looking at it more I see more significance in the dots on his leg which resemble the Orion constellation. Maybe aliens are sending a message. Did crop circles appear in this field?

I can see #1 and #4 in this picture, but I don't see the others. Honestly not sure that what I see is anything other than my mind creating pictures in the same way it does with clouds or rock formations, etc. Cool to speculate, though.

I see nothing but a grainy, mundane picture. I have genuine concern for anyone--especially a whole family, that sees anything otherwise.

I wash my hands of this thread, Slayer--thanks for that.

I can't see a gnome but if you look closely in the bottom right hand corner you can see Tom Cruise!
