are we/the moon movin backwards in time??

ok... yesterday march 1, 2011 @ 6:15am. I saw the cresent moon next to venus. This morning the cresent moon was no where near venus. Doesn't the moon move to the right...so why did the moon move to the left away from venus? I did take pictures and I would put a picture up to explain what I'm tryin to say, but i dont know how..

Have you checked stellarium? (assuming TPTB haven't modified it)

I gladly welcome this....if it means I will get younger every day. I'm 33 looking forward to being 21 again .

the moon orbits earth counter-clockwise so ..left. pretty sure it's doing exactley what it is supposed to do

I will check the moon out in the morning of march 3, 2011. I, not only saw this, but so did my brother and he lives in a different state than I do. He called me this morning and said what's up with the moon?? shouldn't the moon been really close to venus Or on the right side of venus ??--but it was on the left side FARTHER away----I'm 40 wish I could be 21 too.

I would seriously doubt we are all moving backwards, and I'm pretty sure were not moving backwards in time cause I woke up this morning still 37, still fat and still wishing I could go back to being my old hot, irresistible 19 year old self! That being said, the universe is a chaotic and extremely fascinating place and for us humans to think we know all there is to know about it and what it's supposed to be doing is kinda arrogant. However, I'm sure there is a simple explanation for what you saw, I just don't know what it is. LOL

wouldnt counter-clockwise direction depend on whether or not you are facing north or south? I am confused
