UK town overrun by pack of wild horses....Damn gypsies!

"Residents in the town say they have been woken up by small groups of horses galloping past their homes in the middle of the night. Animal lover Pat Jones said: ‘They have apparently been wandering around for the last few days."

Gypsies who could not feed their horses left them to wander....

unfortunately, several horses have died, hit by cars etc, and others are ill due to improper care.

Hopefully everything will work out and they can find homes

Sadly, this has been happening everywhere. People suddenly discover how expensive horses are to keep and set them free. Or, as in my case, 4 horses were left at the local dump last week. Thankfully the RSPCA was able to take them in.

Its a sad state of affairs.

on the other hand though, why can't these horses fend for themselves in the wild? have they been domesticated?
