Hi there! Is your terrorist group thinking about replacing those dusty, old-soviet-era AK-47s with the newest military rifles, ammo, and rocket propelled grenades? Or, perhaps you’re a tenured dictator who is looking to squash dissent in your country with crowd control weaponry such; as tear gas grenades, water-cannons, and sound weapons? Or maybe you’re just looking to build and expand your existing army with a few simple purchases, how about some state-of-the-art jet fighters, helicopters, predator drones, tanks, and attack vehicles? Well you’ve come to the right place.

Welcome to the 2011 IDEX Abu Dhabi Bazaar Arms Fair and Trade!
Where all of your terrorist needs are met with open arms! We’ve got items from top defense contractors such as; Boeing, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin Corp., and many more!

The Opening Ceremony.

Since U.S. President Barack Obama took office, there's been a major acceleration in the sales of frontline fighter jets, tanks and other U.S.-made hardware and weapons systems being sold overseas. According to the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), worldwide sales zoomed from $18 billion in 2006 to $30.7 billion in 2009.

In 2009 and 2010, the U.S. Department of Defense notified Congress that weapons sales to foreign buyers could reach as much as $100 billion -- almost an eightfold increase from the $13 billion that was the yearly norm from 1995 to 2005.

Who are the buyers?

Maybe, you’re asking yourself what if I lose power and get overthrown, do I have to give the weapons and hardware back? Have no fear, you are in luck!

If a regime that's a U.S. defense-industry customer gets overthrown or ousted, the United States doesn't just get to take the hardware or weapons-systems back, says Pieter D. Wezeman, a senior researcher with the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute. Instead, "the new regime would just inherit them" -- much like Iran inherited dozens of the then-frontline F-14 "Tomcat" fighter jets back in 1979, when the Shah was overthrown as part of the Iranian Revolution, which enabled the Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini to come to power.

Is this arms fair part of the reason why Gahadfi's assets have been frozen all over the world? So he can't restock is supplies for war.

Don't you think the timing of this arms depot, aimed to arm any Middle Eastern state, is a bit coincidental with all of the protests and unrest happening in the M.E. right now?

I wonder who will be buying this year?

I bet crowd control weaponry will be a hot seller! And most if not all of the weapons used against U.S. troops in the M.E. were probably purchased directly from the IDEX and then resold to “terrorists.”

No one cares that this is how the groups and dictators in the Middle East and around the world arm themselves?
