A Floor Cleaner With GPS???

The Mint® Automatic Floor Cleaner uses the NorthStar® Navigation System to determine its location then builds a map of the area as it cleans, including walls, obstacles and drop offs.

I really dont know what forum to put this subject so mods please move if need be.
I managed to stumble on a commercial just a few moments ago while watching Troy on TNT about a Bed Bath And Beyond product called Mint® Automatic Floor Cleaner. At first i was thinking it was just a regular commercial about a robotic mop and just wanted them to get back to the movie until i heard "NorthStar® Navigation System" and "Makes a map of the area as it cleans" caught my attention.

All the commercial left me was questions..
does this gps data get stored?
does the data get sent? if so to who?
