new mercenarys,get payed extremely well

I was watching the news and they spoke of moammar gadhafi's mercenarys he hired from africa. They stated these mercenarys make 1000-2000 dollars a day. That is how much a private in the U.S army makes in a month and that's only if they are deployed.

So i am just wondering how a third world country can afford such pay.

Plus his life is in jeopardy...he will use up every bit of money. You would be surprised how much some us branches make in combat. Not quite that much though.

O yea,i didnt think that he is just using every penny he can get to. In hopes of staying in power. And i guess 1k a day isnt that much if those mercenarys are only going to kill for a few days and go home.
