With us constantly discovering how little we know about everything, not to mention all the videos and testimonies and even some hard evidence [ implants from materials not able to be created on earth, ] how is it alien life is still debated? Common sense people.

So say we all...lol. I just started watching the series on Netflix a few months ago. I'm on season 4.5 right now. Damn good show.

Very cool discovery. Really makes you think what it'd look like.

wow imagine having 3 earths in synchronous orbit? just a hop and a skip to a whole other world!

you could designate one for republicans one for democrats and one for libertarians!!! jk!

or one for mining one for processing and one for living!

or all three in perfect balance... would be so awesome to look up and see a sister planet so close constantly...

Nah, the Geminons would hate the Capricans and the Capricans would hate tha Taurons and then someone would invent a robot and stick his dead daughters memories into it and it would become alive, spawning a religious war between the polytheists and the monotheists but ultimately ending with a cancellation so we never really know the outcome.

So say we all..

the geminons hate the capricans who hate the taurons and go to war with polytheists and montheists ending up with them canceling each other out... so, if ive got this right, no one hates earthlings, earth wasnt involved in the war and everyone else has canceled each other out.. i think that means.... we are in the clear....

The article gave me no hint at how far away this system is or the size of these planets. I would assume this system is like many already discovered with the close rapid orbits, huge gas giants with a year in less than a week and a half in clearly a dead zone.

A couple of points about our moon. It's huge compared to it's father planet–Earth. Great astronomers can theorize how this came to be and a slow collision of a large planet(oid) is the best scenario to explain how we got such a large moon. Geologists also can conclude with reasonable observation of the makeup of planets and moons by their mass and plate tectonics to reasonable degrees. No, we have yet to even dug down a quarter of the way through our own crust yet we can reasonably assume what's down there and below on how the planet is behaving. One guy says we have no idea what's below the moons crust but feels reasonably comfortable we know what's in the crust because we scratched the surface and he saw moon rocks, OK, by that logic, we should expect little surprises further down.

Um, rewind, Mercury is much larger than our moon, there are only two moons larger than Mercury Saturn's Titan, and the largest moon of Jupiter, Ganymede.

Back to these 'twin' planets, I would also expect them to be in tidal lock, one side always facing their sun, assuring they are dead gas balls of mostly hydrogen, with violent storms creating heavier elements closer to their cores.

Still, very cool. Thanks for the link and this discussion so far.

That is straight up funny... let us hope that there is no dark matter from Uranus like its name sake. That is just disturbing.

yeaaah well thats all abiding toward animalistic tribal warfare.. something i think is not on the charts for galactic sovereignty... just my fitty cent.

Awesome, I just read this on popsci.com imagine if Earth originally had a planet orbitting along with it? I remember a story about Tatame I believe? S&F!

Is there any recent news to this? Could it be possible that Mars shared an orbit with Earth? Thus why Mars used to have oceans?

WHAT BLOWS MY MIND

Is that the Universe is so vast that there are sun(s) out there in some distint galaxy,

with planets going around it/them just like ours. Mirror image.

I mean when you look at the galaxy Andromeada 2.2 ly away...

There's prbably a planet just like earth, in a system just like ours.
