On that page is the Apollo 14 landing site. Image resolution is 0.5m per pixel, or one an a half feet.

It took me a few minutes to locate the Apollo 14 landing site in that large image, but I did find it. Cool stuff! You can see the lunar rover trails (3 distinct ones).

Nice. You can see the A14 astronauts tracks towards the Cone Crater, which they didn't find.

I think it was really noble of them to name the craters on the moon after the Challenger crew. That was a really nice thing to do.

You know with how many threads are being created on ATS about these pictures, I have reason to believe that they are fakes and the disinfo agents are trying to spread around fake HD moon photo pictures.

PROVE TO ME IT'S THE MOON

If you debunkers can prove it's not a UFO in the picture, then you can prove to me that this IS the moon in these pictures.

Are any of the photos classified? Is there evidence or airbrushing?

Clementine photos always gets my interest when a large portion of the photos taken of the moon are classified. Lets hope NASA is showing us all of the photos taken.

Oh fer pete's sake! That's not how proof works. To prove that "X is not Y" one need only find a counterexample. To prove a video is a fake, one needs to show just one instance of the hoaxery breaking down. To prove something _is_ the case, though, is a radically different proposition and, frankly, a nonsensical one at that. Science talks about evidence, not absolute proof. No one can absolutely 'prove' that it's the moon. All we can say is "It is consistent with what you'd expect such a photo to look like." No, you say you "have reason" to think it's a fake. Fine, what's your evidence? Show us an obviously airbrushed section. Find a gross inconsistency between this photo and other, accepted-as-the-moon photos. Find a repeated tile. But make no mistake: the burden of proof lies with the skeptic here.

I see they still take grayscale photos of the Moon... I wonder why
