i came acroos this great clip/animation of imperial history of the middle east and world, showing who conqured what, spanning a timeline of 5000 yrs.
very interesting and clears up alot of loose ends and mental blind spots we all have....enjoy!

It was looking fine (shows how much I know).... until the Byzantine Empire came up.
It lost all credibility right there, so I stopped watching
