Mr. Mathews says, "call your representative and insist on an investigation!"

I say, sadly, you would be wasting your breath, for I'm sure they are immune to any prosecution. A hearing, as usual would cost the taxpayers millions of dollars, making a bunch of lawyers tons of money, with no real consequence.

However, this topic should not be laid to rest so easily... people are still dying, everyday, because of these people's decisions. That, is a tragedy, if not a gross crime!

Sadly, I agree. This is one of Obama's biggest screwups - that he did not insist on a full, real, objective, legally-driven investigation into the evidence that indicates members of the Bush administration were involved in war crimes.

Granted that it would be difficult to convene a truly objective panel to perform such an investigation, given the partisanship that is so prevalent. Difficult, not impossible.

The evidence of war crimes is substantial... even the publicly available evidence. The fact that the US failed miserably to even investigate is a disgrace. One more example of the US attitude that international laws are for other countries, not this one.

A crime it is. And one more brick in the load that will lead to the eventual demise of the US.

What Bush did was in plain view of everyone in a State of the Union Address.
Bush acting as chief executive did what he wanted.
Why Nam from Nixon and LBJ.

I may never be explained.

People opposed to war never made it to the presidency by elections.
People able to change the face of war have been ignored although some devices
are showing up gradually but the initial misuse of some have enabled world wars.

Martin Luther King came out opposed to Nam and in a few weeks was gone.
Jack Kennedy may have been against Nam but we can't say now.
My hero Nikola Tesla had plans to overt war before WWI but the war makers
had other plans.

This goes above Bush, The White House and even the nation itself so do not expect any investigations for some time as those involved are slowly being knocked out.
