That day when I post this poster, Friend of mine told me metal that they used, but I forgot what it is. Also I am at the middle beliving that usa landed on the moon. ( Even in statistics 40% of American don't belive that usa landed on the moon)

Go to NASA's site, type in "moon landing hoax" in the search engine, and you'll find the answers to your questions (especially if you saw the FOX special saying we didn't go to the moon)....

Didn't they use gold foil as well? I seem to remember pictures of gold foil on the craft.

Because of it v. high density & atoms size to would provide good shielding

I think even water could be used to help shield a ship

Some subs do this. They have a chamber of water between the reactor and the crew.

Many of you said that on the moon are not very high rediation. Then read this:

www.sundaytimes.co.za...

If ON LOW-ORBIT radiattion is enogh to damage spacecraft. Then think what it can do with human body.

Also I ask few of my friends about this metal that can protect from radiation. It is lead. Only this metal was know in 60s that can protect from radiation. To stand enogh radiation that is on moon you will need at least 15cm walls. but lead is too heavy, SO DID USA GO TO MOON????

"If ON LOW-ORBIT radiattion is enogh to damage spacecraft. Then think what it can do with human body. "
This article is talking about longer term damage than the astronauts were exposed to. Radiation "damage" (unless you are talking about MASSIVE radiation exposure) is usually cumulative. Even flight personel exposed to over 27,000 hours of higher radiation levels only exhibit a 1% increase in cancer rates. Smoking is more dangerous than this.
Next, you must understand, as stated above by another poster, that this satelite damage is "as a result of the Earth's magnetic field weakening above our part of the planet. "
This was not happening to any appreciable effect back in 1969, and so is irrelevant.

"Also I ask few of my friends about this metal that can protect from radiation. It is lead. Only this metal was know in 60s that can protect from radiation. To stand enogh radiation that is on moon you will need at least 15cm walls."
Your friends dont know what they are talking about.
First of all GOLD will block this type of radiation (at a certain thickness), so your friends telling you that LEAD was the only known substance is ridiculous. Im not saying that gold was used, Im just using it as an example of how your friends are speaking in ignorance.

Secondly it doesnt take 15 cm of lead to block Cosmic Radiation.

Thirdly, if you are talking about the Van Allen Belt, you need to read a bit more about the effects of radiation on the human body. The effects of radiation arent *all at once* (unless you are talking about MASSIVE amounts, which the VAB dont have in the amounts you are speaking of). The adverse effects of radiation are usually cumulative. The astronauts were only within the VAB for only about an hour. You will do more carcinomic (sp?) damage to yourself by smoking a few cigarettes.

Read this link and you will understand the effects of the Van Allen Belts on the astronauts (or rather the lack of effects)-
