This was the most fun thing to research,so i am writing this. Something they did not teach me in school,im not sure if you learned about any of this.

This unit was the first biological warfare unit in the world, ran by the japanese. To create the worlds first bio weapons they set up death camps,to expirement on individuals against their will. They believed the outcome of the expiriment would not come out truthfully if the test subject was dead,so they kept the people fresh and alive through expiriments. a smile would come to your face after finding out you were going to hitlers death camp instead of unit 731's.

They opperated in the shade of japan, posing to the locals as a "lumber mill". Refering to the human guinea pigs as "logs" and "lumber".

Now i think that is enough information to get you started. I found many conspiricies on my own about this unit, lets see if you find them too.

Here are some links to get you started

Interesting. I certainly had never heard of this before.

Prisoners of war were subjected to vivisection without anesthesia.[11][13] Vivisections were performed on prisoners after infecting them with various diseases. Scientists performed invasive surgery on prisoners, removing organs to study the effects of disease on the human body. These were conducted while the patients were alive because it was feared that the decomposition process would affect the results.[11][14] The infected and vivisected prisoners included men, women, children, and infants

Sounds like another great shining moment in the history of the world, just when I think I have seen the very worst in humanity it goes and surprises me yet again.

Just as well they balance it up with some good stuff now and again or I might lose hope completely

lol This unit was the first biological warfare unit in the world? Really you think so ahaha. In the middle ages they used a tactic where instead of using catapults to crush the castle they would surround the castle so no one could get out then they loaded the catapults with diseased cattle and people and flung it into the castle with the catapult. How about the US giving the American Indians smallpox thru infected blankets. This is nothing new. And only when they have been able to gene splice has any army actually been able to truly weaponize it and make it resistant to antibiotics.

This stuff was all in the rise and fall of the third reich, a very scary book in case you never read it.The chapters on the experiments in the camps will curl your hair.If you have no worries about the cruelty of the human species this book will give you some.

The horrors unleashed by Imperial Japan in Manchuria and China are a very important subject.

Thank you for posting this it doesn't get enough coverage.

The link you posted to Unit 731 is really interesting.

Don't get me wrong, I have no disrespect for Japanese people, they are one of the most awesome cultures on the planet easily.

But like all of us, their past is riddled with tragedy.

We must learn from these mistakes if we ever hope to avoid repeating them.

we shoudl point out they WERENT nazi units. but japanese imperial forces. and in fact began experiments BEFORE they were axis allied

also the japanese developed a fighter that could launch from a submarine, a bomber that could fly to the continental USA from china, and a biological warfare agent BEFORE the end of the war.

the decision was made not to use the biological weapons, but i dont know if that would have stood had the war not ended when it did.

Wow... I think we all know about the German experiments during the same time period and I knew there was some things going on in Japan but this is just disgusting. After reading your posting I had a little look-see on the web and found this article to support your posting.

More info for you

This is really a part of WWII that nobody tends to know about. Did you also know the reason why no Japanese people were tried in the Geneva Convention for these war crimes? Because they agreed to hand over their "medical" research that came from the torture to the Americans. And America actually found some cures for diseases and treatments for frostbite out of the research and tests involuntarily performed by the Japanese.

I will dig for a source, but I am 100% certain.

I posted about biological warfare during the Korean war and how the US acquired their capabilities.
ATS Link

It is interesting to note that most of the members of Unit 731 received immunity from prosecution by General MacArthur, and that the Green Cross founder was the leaderof this unit.

Green Cross was founded in 1950 as Japan's first commercial blood bank and became a diversified international pharmaceutical company producing ethical drugs for delivery or administration by doctors and healthcare workers. Its founders included war criminals such as Kitano Masaji who performed torture and experimentations on humans in the Japanese military's notorious Unit 731 during World War II.

As a result,I do not buy their products.

This may have been the very worst humanity has ever seen.
It's interesting you hear so much about adolf hitler. When infact the japanese axis was more evil than the germans.

I also think it's very interesting they got immunity and how they pulled that off.
I guess they got lucky the U.S. didnt have a bio warfare unit or any biowarfare knowledge. Or else they would have been useless and prosecuted for their war crimes. It also helped that we werent too sure if the soviets would get the information first.

You forgot that before we evolved from monkeys we also threw crap at each other. This is infact the first bio warfare unit in the world that had exstensive research behind their weapons though. And we got a few biological bombs from them, along with alot of information about diseases. Information,The u.s. or any other country did not have at the time.

There is a movie about this group of sadistic war criminals. "Children of the Sun" it is called. It is probably in the top three disturbing and graphic movies every made as it is all real footage. Don't watch it if your the sensative type. I'm not usually worried about graphic images but this was truly horrible.
