yup i dont believe the haarp or any other conspiricy, there were two flare's and the last was a X2.2 which is fairly big but the mother one, just strong enough to cuse a few hiccup's in comunications. today here in ireland, the radio signal in my car was fairly bad, sometimes getting no reception on my normal freequency. wonder what tomorrow will bring

very interesting time's were in indeed!!

I have been getting knocked off line from time to time - anyone else having this problem.

Ham reception not very good - otherwise all is well. Tomorrow should be interesting when the X hits us.

I am in south Florida and had a call that was very garbled and dropped my call 4 times in an area that I never have issues. In fact, I never have call quality issues normally, just the occasional dropped call when driving through a dead spot. First thing I thought of was the flares but I assumed it was the x class, not the m class.

Very interesting article, up until know, i had no idea whether the solar flare affected anything. excellent find.
One thing that stuck out to me was this

The space weather monitoring center said there is a high probability that large solar flares will appear in the next three days.

Are we even at solar maximum yet?
