So I had my first actual UFO experience tonight

I was driving home from me ladies house. As I was heading north I happened to notice an unusual light pulsing in the sky. At first I thought it was a star until i could make out its flight path moving from west to east. The whole time going from a barely noticeable speck of light to a good 10-20 times the size and brightness every few seconds and staying lit up for a good 2-3 seconds.

To my delight the UFO started to converge on a plane heading east to west. This allowing a better reference point for size, altitude, and distance of course. The plane had the same lighting configuration( with quick blinks of sometimes multiple lights) as any commercial jet that usually comes and goes from the airport, located 10 min south of my town was flying at normal altitude(30,000-40,000ft). It was also about 2000 feet lower than the ufo and maybe a 1000 feet closer to me than the ufo. Thus ridding my mind of any doubt that this unidentified flying object could be any kind of normal plane. As I could clearly make out the lights on the plane and them being somewhat close to each other in distance and altitude resolved any issues with the pulsing of the ufo being some sort of distortion from my windshield or it being so far away.

So it seemed the two objects would get pretty close to one another. Until out of nowhere the ufo stopped and started to fade, as if it did a quick 90 once it got within a few thousand feet of the plane and took off north at what seemed a high rate of speed, because within mere seconds it was out of sight. Also as they were heading towards each other the plane looked as if it was not moving compared to how fast the ufo was pulsing across the nights sky.

I usually scan the sky when I am out and about. Looking for precious gems such as this. Aside from the occasional dull glow of a satellite lazily crossing the sky in its orbit I have never seen anything that fit within the normal ufo criteria( pulsing light, high rate of speed, and sudden turns at speed) and am extremely curious to know if anyone else has seen such a craft whether in the sky or on the net

It is a great feeling huh? Seeing something like that and have it maybe confirming strong suspicions that they exist?!
I had my first sighting over a Military base here in New Zealand in 1974.....was intrigued and as I had a limited knowledge of UFO's was amazed to have someone tell me what it ' might be' after explaining.
Then I had a great time recalling my sighting and knew for sure that what I saw what NOT of this world.

Now you have seen one, you'll keep looking up and then you'll see another.

Just try and keep an open mind about what you are seeing, sit on the fence, as your mind can play tricks. Learn to identify satellites, ISS, helicopters, high altitude plane, Chinese lanterns, remote control toys etc.

And...keep a camera with small tripod to hand...just in case.
