I'm interested in fashion and every season I watch all the runway shows, This week the new fall winter 2011 2012 fashions are premiering. Other then having interests in some materialistic things like fashion I am also an avid reader of ATS and been lending my ear to conspiracies of how China and may become a new leader in the economic future. I've also noticed many people conspiring that 'the system' and 'illuminati' are involved with keeping the sheep consuming and highly support the 'fashion world' .. Not only are there many asian influences in trends this year but there are many many Asian models used in each collection. Usually in a designers collection there is sometimes an african model and an asian model, but this year there are many Asian models and I cant help think that it may be to encourage the upcoming Asian consumers. If our dollar collapses I could see the American economy and Chinese economy flip and north Americans could eventually become the ones who work for dollars a day.. Or i may just be 'another crazy conspiracy theorist' .

it is not a competition to see who can have the biggest economy and the loser does not all of a sudden become a third world country.

A lot of asian chicks has that "slim" look that modeling agencies love.

So yeah, simple as that.

Uhh what?

And I'm sorry but stick-thin women aren't attractive in any sense of the word.

That's what I'm sayin'! I want CURVES.

Honestly, I think the influx of Asian's has to do with the fact, as stated, that they are naturally smaller. And for some reason, can be consider more attractive. I guess it's the exotic look. Something different from the usual blond haired buxom woman. When I think that woman "model"...oh, that sounds sexist, I can name at least five that automatically pop in to my head. Actually...come to think of it. The first five to pop in my head were...um, women of ill repute. If you catch my drift.

Don't worry too much about an Asian take over or anything just yet. It's there, don't get me wrong. Just not strong enough yet.

Oh I dunno.... has anyone seen the commericals on CNN lately with nothing but Chinese in it (and it is NOT a tourism commercial either) letting us stupid Americans just how wonderful China is with its "Influencial Wealth".... "World Class Athletes".... etc. Now this may not bother me as much as it does if I thought for a second China is airing pro-US commercials on their airwaves......just saying. I don't need a stinking commercial to let me know that there are wonderful people in China.. or any place else. I'm smart enough to have figured that out a long time ago, but add this commercial to your observation about fashion week and things could start to add up.
