Ashcroft screws the lid on whistle-blower Sibel Edmonds

Are any of you familiar with Sibel Edmonds? I found this article online this morning. If true you can tell the government is definetely hiding more than we are being told.

WASHINGTON, D.C.�Attorney General John Ashcroft took yet another step last week to deep-six the Sibel Edmonds case by classifying the report of an investigation into her allegations of FBI wrongdoing so the public will never know what it says. Meanwhile, Justice Department officials met in secret with a federal judge in Washington, following which he dismissed her suit charging the FBI with wrongfully firing her.

Edmonds is the translator hired by the FBI after 9-11 to help its woefully inadequate staff translate documents and wiretaps pertaining to the attacks in languages such as Farsi and Turkish. As she has told the Voice in past and recent interviews, she was given a top secret security clearance. She soon discovered that there were what she describes as two enemy moles with possible connections to 9-11 working both in the FBI and with the Air Force in weapons procurement for Central Asia, at one point. These were the Dickersons: Douglas with the Air Force and his Turkish-born wife, Melek Can Dickerson, with the FBI as a translator monitor. After they were subpoenaed for a court hearing, they left for Belgium in September 2002 and have not been heard from since.

This IMO is important information to the public to know what she was translating. I've said this before and I'll say it again. I don't like Ashcroft. I hate the guy in fact. I hope he is removed soon. I'm tired of his lies.

ATS posters prefer chanting "you have no evidence" that bush did this or that and you just let topic like this slide off of the screen with eyes wide closed. You like having no evidence, that way you can pretend that you are serving God while you defile any search for truth.

I've been following the case - since before it broke. The government is most definitely hiding ALOT. The State Secrets Priviledge that Asscroft invoked is rarely used. It's called a desperation move. Sibel Edmonds testimony could and should bring the heads of the FBI down. Her testimony shows complicity in or at the very least, knowledge of the 9-11 attacks (beforehand).

But that judge done shut her up. Is anyone really surprised? Bush appointed that traitorous judge.

And people still believe Bush is not hiding things? This is a guy who wouldn't give out his shoe size yet demands Kerry reveal everything that the FBI hadn't.(hmmm, wonder who told the FBI to release all 20,000 pages to the media?((Sarcasm))
