Rove clearly stated that Obama was born in America, “Look he was born in Hawaii. If he was born in Kenya then there must have been some massive conspiracy. Look, birth notices in both Honolulu newspapers.”
Correct, I recall reading somewhere that multiple people who were political science majors at Columbia University between 1981 and 1983 did not recognize his name as being a former classmate of theirs. These were people who would have been in the same classes as Obama and yet none of them remembered his presence. Of course, Obama refuses to release his records from his time at Columbia, or any of the other colleges he attended for that matter (Occidential, Harvard, etc).

That's the problem with all this. I just might be right, and none of you CARE. It's just a big F'in joke, isn't it?
It DOESN'T MATTER to you.
Yet, you say I should rail against TPTB, the "Money Men," "Big Oil," "Evil Corps" or whatever else you all call it. And here's lil 'ole me, bucking the system, the MAN, if you will, and YOU want to attack ME. What does that say about the future of this country? What does that say about YOU.edit on 17-2-2011 by Califemme because: I must.

Yes, it is a big joke. I personally care, I just know you are not right.

You are not railing against any kind of power. You have not lashed out at any actual policy. You just clung to an unfounded rumor that you hope would unseat someone. It seems to be that if Obama were the enemy of the American people that you claim to be fighting against, you would have WAY MORE stuff to rail about than this nonsense.

Becaus anyone that ever went to a college bigger than a state college understands how close everyone is and how you all really get to know each other.
I recall reading that the Sun revolves around the Earth. I bet I can find a link to that on the internets and all. In the meantime...
I went to school with "Barry"
The reason this is all so entertaining is that the people that push this rumor are obviously people that have never actually attended a decent sized institution of any kind much the same way the people that cry fraud about the birth certificate itself show a stunning display of certificate ignorance.
I am going to miss the birthers so I can only hope we get an openly Muslim Female with no living family running for office soon before all the birthers find something shiny.

Yes, I do have way more stuff to rail about than JUST this nonsense.
And secondly, who says it's an unfounded rumor?
You?
Pray tell, how do you "know" it's not true?
Puh-lease, if you don't want to do the hard work, then get out of MY way.
Noone's asking for your help, we just want you out of our way.

Wow, did you just put your racism on display for all?
Did you really just paint with a broad brush all birthers?
And, WHY does it need to be a "muslim" female?
Do you think white people are inferior?
How about Catholics?
Are you just in love with the idea of a foreigner being President?
Well, so am I. BUT, because I have 1 naturalized citizen parent and I was born out of this country, I couldn't be President. (If you haven't figured this out yet, I take THIS issue very personal) So don't sit there on your high horse and presume to know MY intentions or convictions.
You could have had female candidate with one Roman Catholic parent and one Buddhist parent, but it seems you'd prefer me to be a Muslim and and my family dead. Sheesh, the things you people say!

The way Sohale Siddiqi remembers it, he and his old roommate were walking his pug, Charlie, on Broadway when a large, scary bum approached them, stomping on the ground near the dog's head.....Until his skinny, Ivy League-educated friend — Barack Obama — intervened.
"Obama, in the eyes of some right-wingers, is basically Muslim until proved innocent," says Margot Mifflin....The young man Mifflin remembers was "an unpretentious, down to earth, solidly middle-class guy who seemed somewhat more sophisticated than the average college student.
But another former Occidental classmate, Robert McCrary, now general manager of a contract sewing company, saw him differently: "He definitely had a cocky, sometimes arrogant way about him. ... He was not open to others."
Thummalapally lived with Obama the summer of 1980. The two ran together daily, three miles in the early morning, often chatting about their dreams.
Andrew Roth knew Obama at Occidental and in New York. He speaks bluntly: "The thought, believe me, never crossed my mind that he would be our first black president."
