The kind of squabbles that you are referring to are localized and petty. I know it may seem impossible to some of the Brethren, but is it possible the friend of the OP references the reconciliation of major philosophical differences between the Grand Orient of France and the United Grand Lodge of England?
That would be interesting. I was thinking more along the lines of a more centralized Grand Lodge to be an umbrella over all of Masonry. You know, One World Order (of Masons) as opposed to the hundreds of disparate and sovereign Grand Lodges around the world. Who knows?

You just called all non-masons a joke. Think of it: Masons want order, people who are not masons don't fit into your needs as a secret group. The people of dischord are the non-masons of the world because we live outside your "order."

Congratulations.

You children with your silly little boys club
I guess you write on your lodges "No Eastern Star girls allowed!" lol. All this fear about a NWO and world government has been penned down in the Holy Bible for the last 4500 years, you guys are just playing around in your underwear while swearing oaths to each other with recycled information.

If you guys really want some "secret knowledge" which is about as unbiblical as you can get, then you should study the book of Revelations and see the near future of this planet all neatly laid out for you. Widows son indeed...hehehehe.

Having followed a lot of this thread. I find it interesting that the Freemasons still get as much grief as they do.
The persecution and violence they have suffered historically seems to live on in some ways. Though no doubt, it's better today than it's ever been.

But what fascinates me is that there are other organizations out there, just as secretive(if not more so), more agenda driven from what I can see. And one hell of a lot more diabolical.

Maybe you guys are just more visible, and larger in numbers. So you get the brunt.

yeah aren't all women looney? too bad i'm not ovulating anymore. there goes that theory!

ANYway. you should read enuma elish. particularly the story of tiamat's activities with kingu.
now there's an interesting story. abzu (apsu) is killed so she connects with kingu instead. what are the odds
that kingu is a gate name on another planet/moon? there's some weird for ya.

(hint: tiamat is the name the ancient storytellers gave to the wormhole generated artificially by various "babels" and in the case of some babylonian texts, given responsibility for creating the universe. imagine that! did you watch the super massive black holes video i posted?)

wait, need to share a video with ya

then it would be his own stupidity for not
leaving too. I shouldn't have to tell him.
Some things are just common sense.

So... Say you have just decided to move.... Your neighbor should just be expected to pack and follow you, even though they have no idea why you are moving? They are not likely to assume you are moving away for business reasons or just because you want a bigger house?

it is common sense that they should assume that you moving is a sign that something terrible is going to happen and they should just know to move to?

Yeah, that is not common sense at all.

Here is the deal. As a MAN, if you know that something horrible is going to happen, it is your duty and legal obligation to let people know or at the very least, notify authority that something is going to happen and peoples lives are in danger.... If you are willing do to anything short of that... Then you, sir, need to check your priorities.

Mason or not, that is what a real man would do... And quite frankly, if your organization is one that discourages people from warning others when their lives are at risk, ( Even though you are encouraged to do good for your fellow man)... then... Well, that is one disgusting organization you are a part of...

You, make me think so much less of Masons... I truly hope that the majority of Masons do not think the way you do... and I quite frankly, I feel sorry for your family, friends and neighbors... If they are ever in trouble... I hope they don't expect to count on you...

SWEET!!! It's about time! There needs to be a complete overhaul of this planet. One world Government is a great idea. Once the panic, fighting, etc. is over with it will be the greatest thing to ever happen. People will be wondering why it took so long. Less war, hopefully less population (my personal view), one currency, no countries going bankrupt like a lot of them are, and more scientific advancement (my personal fave). Imagine having all the scientists from every country working together for a common goal to help EVERYBODY and not just their country. We'd move away from fossil fuels a heck of a lot quicker. We'd be able to successfully travel through deep space with no problems if we had just one space organization. The positives easily outweigh the negatives. So what if it starts with negatives because it won't take long for the positives to shine through. Even if they started killing off large parts of the population I'll still be for it. Yeah I'd fight for survival, but if I get killed then so what. Everyone's gotta die. The population is coming up on 7 billion people. That's waaaaayy too many. Especially with our planet's/countrys' current states. It is for the greater good. I'm no Mason but I agree with where they're coming from.

I have always felt that anyone who feels the need to join these little "clubs" like the mason's, with all their goofy little initiation rituals, is a very immature and insecure individual. Kids do stuff like that to make themselves feel more important and a part of something "special". Delinquents also do that in the form of joining gangs.

You offer nothing new. You may even be posing as a member of the mason's, since everything you mentioned can be researched by anyone. Give some specific information and facts about what is coming and you will seem more believable.

Otherwise, you are just another poser.

I wish he would have given some time frame, but unfortunately he did not, He just told me to to continue to stay active in masonry, and be watchful. I'm American, I served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany for a few years, and when I ETS'ed out the Army I lived in Germany a few more years with my half German son.
Yes I still consider myself pretty young(28) but I first was brought into masonry at 18. fortunately in military lodges we tend to fast track. We are very proficient in degree work and studing. Do to the constant movement in the Army, member's of lodges tend to come and go, i was fortunate enough to stay in one lodge for some time and became a master of my lodge at the age of 21. I only recently returned back home to Texas, and have not been too active in masonry due to work and school. But hopefully that will change

Just so I understand; you got sworn in at age 18, you became a 32nd degree mason in 2004 and your only 28 now in 2011? So if your birthday is after 2-11 then you were 22 when you became a 32nd degree mason????? Now I am not a mason so please forgive my ignorance, but if someone can progress 32 levels in three years in any organization; that is beyond amazing. Did you make master sergeant in like 3 months?

Nothing personal and it is not my intent to belittle you, but when you come on this site, a site that many of us actually use to share relevant and important information with each other, and make statements that are extraordinary like that it tends to be self defeating to what most of us are trying to accomplish here.

this is the meaning: Rich guy is dissing on other rich people because he knows that the music industry and media, have convinced everyone that only white people are rich. he's still enslaved, doncha know. now he's enslaved to the money he wanted to make, so it's yet again, the fault of rich white people. this particular blame game can go on and on and on and on, literally forever. soon it will be the fault of rich white people that he was even born, the bastiages, could've at least let him live peacefully in the before life.

oh, and by extension, it's ALL white people's fault (even the poor white people). yep. that's what that is.

Very interesting view you have there from the outside, but there are alot of good reasons to join a gang or a group or organization Etc.
One is to be among likeminded individuals, kind of like this group here.
You did go through the "ritual" of registering with these boards didn't you?
I will assume yes, Welcome to the boards and "the club".
Now all silliness aside, back in 2002 after much of the housing market went to crap here in the US i lost my job.
A fellow brother owned a company that was doing fine and put me to work, although it was not the best of pay i will have to say that it was the best "job" i ever had. if i needed or just even wanted a day off, i would ask if we had a huge work load and usually Larry wouldn't even look up at me. He would just give me the silly wave and a Buh-bye that said nope git outta here kid!
Another brother of mine in same said year realized that my childrens christmas would be less than stellar this same year, he then took it upon himself and rallied some of our friends. That year for the first time i actually caught santa in my house, go figure, did you know that santa drives a jeep truck??!!
Anyway what i'm trying to say is it is more than looking cool and being tough, there are advantages of being in organizations. we pull each other up, we make good men better.
Hope that helps.

In the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite SMJ, which is likely the jurisdiction of an American military Lodge abroad, a reunion class is elevated from the 4th to the 32nd degree in three DAYS!

Believe me, joining ATS was no ritual, or did I miss the part about the secret handshake somewhere?

How about helping other people in general, instead of only other "brothers"?
