I heard an advertisement for this item on the radio. I went to the website and checked it out. I signed up for one, not that I'm going to use it, I just want to check it out.

Electronic Money

Is this the future of our money?
Will we have paper money at all in the future years?

Hmmm.. maybe they are going to be tracking my purchases, maybe they will be tracking me...

Or maybe I'm just paranoid...

Interesting. But its only a matter of time before counterfeints come out. Then what about stolen cards.

It is my opinion that yes, someday paper and coin money will be gone.

Yes, your purchases will be tracked and this will also be a way of keeping tabs on you and your wherabouts.

good question, but imagine this.... Implanted Chips.... that do this job, it's your identification, money etc. but, even then, someone will probably find a way to counterfeit it.

Debit Cards, these new electronic money cards are just the beginning.

With these cards, you can only carry a balance of $100 CND.

Basically it is so you don't have to break a $20 for a cup of Tim Hortons Coffee.

I guess that offers some assurance for the lost/stolen cards becasue it is not your whole bank account that you have with you.

When I get my card, I will keep you all updated.

Oh.. I am sure they will grow, then it will eventually lead into implants.

First it will be a stylish bracelet, then a ring, then a simple surgery...

Then they can track you WHEREVER you go...

Yes it is a matter of time..
I recently read somethign like this in Popular Science...i cant think of what object the government was using though, to track us...
I want to say a credit card or something that goes in your pocket, maybe a cell phone?

And also, the government has been putting cameras everywhere - in traffic lights, on business corners...Its only a matter of time before we are "1984'd"... In a way, they're doing it for our protection, but they should have a boundry with a tracking devise...
