They plan on leaving the bill to the the democrats. -- Bill Maher.

I did a little research and it appears true. Your thoughts?

I knew Reagan as a conservative icon before i was schooled on this: bankruptcy.hirby.com...

The Reagan administration was quite possibly one of the most corrupt in our recent American history.

Funny how people that KNOW NOTHING about the role of the HOUSE and it being the one that sets the purse strings, always use the President as the one that is supposedly responsible for the budget.

Why do we NEVER see a breakdown of who is controlling the CONGRESS when these things are broke down?

Never mind, let us keep blaming the President. Not the Congress that since Jan 2007 has increased the debt from $8.5 Trillion to the current debt of $14 Trillion.

40% of the Debt has been created over the last 4 years

under Pelosi and Reid!

Now, OP why do you not show us a break down of the debt when the House is controlled by the Dems and when it is controlled by the Repubs.

Or would that show something that you do not want to see?

HMMMMMMMMMMM?

How much or what proportion of that debt you claim was "created" by one "side" or another is interest?

Humanity tends to whitewash the stench of history quite often, and then repeats the same errors.

10 Things Conservatives Don’t Want You To Know About Ronald Reagan

1. Reagan was a serial tax raiser.
2. Reagan nearly tripled the federal budget deficit.
3. Unemployment soared after Reagan’s 1981 tax cuts.
4. Reagan grew the size of the federal government tremendously.
5. Reagan did little to fight a woman’s right to chose.
6. Reagan was a “bellicose peacenik.”
7. Reagan gave amnesty to 3 million undocumented immigrants.
8. Reagan illegally funneled weapons to Iran.
9. Reagan vetoed a comprehensive anti-Apartheid act.
10. Reagan helped create the Taliban and Osama Bin Laden

Please visit the link provided for the complete story.

Then there's the old corporate controlled puppets don't dictate US policy, but that's another thread.

These two statements are by no means mutually exclusive. In fact they tend to be correlated.

Hmmm. The president sets the budget and the house votes Yea or nea.

Reaganomics! I'm sure you can find that chart with a bit of research...but you'd likely find it damages your argument.

The corporate moguls and its lobbyists set the budget and slap the president upside the head, so he pays attention.
