This photo is from NASA displaying sunlight glinting off the sail's reflective fabric.
spaceweather.com...


The reflected light can rival a 3.5 magnitude star. In a recent ATS thread, it can be visible behind the ISS and can be seen in a Youtube video as a photo seen above San Jose CA. I thought ATS would appreciate this photo and explanation.

Here is the photo of the sail above San Jose. I must admit, it looks like there is a wave of three of these objects.
I don't know, I have no explanation for this.
