Plus, if you go to the hospital to get checked out, and have a contagious bug, you'll bring that bug to the hospital. If you're not really really
really sick, I would make sure you have juice or gingerale, chicken soup, call someone to get these things for you. Avoid dairy, get some good sleep,
bring your bucket to bed. Keep your fluid levels up, the chicken soup helps with electrolyte loss.
Chances are, it could be just a stomach bug that will pass. Or a flu, which aren't usually too much to worry about.
If in a day or two, you get worse, then you'll know if you're sick enough to risk a hospital. Keep a phone close by, and make sure you have someone to
check in on you through the day.
I don't call any doctors until I'm sick for about a week or more, and that hasn't happened in over 10 years now. Diseases and germs are present in
hospitals, I only use them as a last resort ( and they're free up here! ).
