Orb Activity: Cameraman Attacked by Orb?

I was just trying to post a video that paranormal studies group might find interesting. It is no lie and not trying to garner attention. Was just asking for honest opinion about what it might be. That is all.

Hey there,

I haven't read all of the comments on this thread yet but as someone who run's my own private paranormal investigation team I would like to answer this question before I continue to read.

So far I have not seen any 'personal attack' on you by the members of ATS ... however, if you consider the video that you added to show an orb 'assaulting' you then I can see how you will have misread the replies and comments.

If you have the slightest experience in paranormal investigation then you will (or at least should) know that the 'orb' phenomena is rarely the result of paranormal activity ... there is a huge chance that there is a logical explanation ... if you are not experienced in paranormal investigation but just attended an organized event on this occasion ... then this is a basic lesson learned for future reference.

You should also be aware that people who take the paranormal field seriously spend much of their time looking for the logical explanations and also trying to show people the reality of the subject ... it does not bode well when people come along with elaborate and / or exaggerated claims that have no basis of support or proof ... all these kind of claims do is add doubt to those already sceptical.

well if your telling the truth then it was a spirit passing by you,trust me,i know every thing you need to know.
was there a recent death in the family,maybe some one that sat and watched tv with you?

Well we were at a private residence and the house was built on indian burial ground so that could be the explanation right there.. And as for your question, my father did pass away several years ago..

Thank you for your honest assesment of this video... While it is true that orbs are not evidence enough for paranormal activity I did ask it to show itself again and then it swoped down in front of me literally in my face.

Don't go away. It's just that we see so much junk on here and so many hoaxers that some people are tired of dealing with it. It doesn't mean that you are one of them. I actually have some legit questions for you. No attacks from me, I promise.

Did you actually see the light coming at you or did you just see it through the camera? Did the person who was with you see it as well? Did it physically hit you or did you feel and physical sensation?

Some people on here really try to get to the truth of the matter. Some people are mean while they're in the process of it. It's just from past experience and nothing really to do with you. Then there are a few who don't even believe in the paranormal and would harshly criticize the strongest evidence out there. And then there are some who will find this all very interesting and try to help you.

Thanks for posting. Don't give up on us. Some of us play nice.

Well,i think it was a spirit,just my point of view,my house was buried over a grave sight, and where a hospital used to be at,so i have had alot of strang things happen,very strange,lol.thanks for the video evidence in my opinion ,of a spirit but who knows,could be wrong,thanks for posting.

The silhouette of what looks like giant cat eyes and face on the back wall above the dresser, a face that looks to be a few feet across, was that created on purpose, or was that an accidental lighting effect?

Video shows nothing supernatural. I'm not sure where the idea that a spot of light can be indicative, a indicator, or the actual manifestation of a spirit/ghost/presence came from. If you look for something long and hard enough and the definition of what that thing is becomes broad enough you are sure to find it.

I am not flaming you. Maybe take a step back and rethink what it is you are investigating/ trying to find. I since sincerity in your post and in your belief of the supernatural, however investigating has to be done with a clear head. When a desire to believe in something and prove it becomes too strong that you lose the objectivity and rationality required to investigate it-- the result maybe the posting of a video and a good flaming.

I know how you feel, i went through the same thing, there needs to be some changes on the matters of personal attacks on ATS, ATS is a debate forum, not an attack on a user forum.



Just so you know i did see the Orb, the Orb was round wasn't it.
