How would you survive

Ok well say if 2012 happens what transportation would you have it would have to be big to store food and building materials
and you would need to store fuel and medical surplus and have some sort of generator you would need to build it to with stand the heat and debris flying around and need to take impacts.

im thinking some sort of ship that can be submerged? you would need some sort of navigation and sonar system i would like to here what people would build and why you would do it that way.

It would be pointless. Whatever you build, you couldnt go anywhere because there isnt anywhere to go...and when you got there...there would be nothing for you...and no one would help...and you will be killed for what you did build.
You couldnt survive in a survivorless world without help, fuel, people, friends, food, medicine etc. Why would you want to?

It really depends on where you want to weather the crisis out. And that depends on the type of crisis.

If you're going to stay in place, maybe a really beat up looking pickup truck - that actually runs well - to keep a low profile.

Second thought, that wouldn't work: all the rednecks would want it in their front yards as a lawn ornament.
