That's a lot of spam. This happened to me years ago, though not to your extent, and I had to change my email addy as a result. I registered on a
gaming site and blammo...spamapalooza. Since then I have 2 email addys with the same provider. One that only family and friends know that comes in
direct through my mail, and the second that I use to purchase online, register with a site ect. I just check on the secondary address via webmail once
a week. And they can spam the heck out of that as far as I'm concerned because it doesn't come through my puta's mail program.
I see that you are in Oz so your provider should allow for multiple mailboxes to be set up. (up to 5 from memory)
No idea on how to solve your current problem regarding blocking, however I suggest creating a new mailbox (email addy) and then reconfigure windows
mail to the new address. Once you have done this you will need to check the old address via webmail while family and friends adjust to your new
address.
I know it's a pain to change address' and notify everyone but it wont take long as opposed to dealing with that much spam.
Hope that helps a bit,
