Its a Virus that can take hold when you search for certain stuff relating to the war.

My Paranoia monster is suggesting it could be to dissuade people from searching for info on the war,
along with this couriously timed message from Microsoft saying there is huge secruity hole in every version of windows and we must immediately download a patch to fix it.........
NO!!! get back in your box little monster! Torment me no more!!!
