The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission last week reaffirmed the usage-based billing model — requiring Canadian Internet service providers (ISPs) to charge customers extra for exceeding monthly download caps. The blow against unlimited Internet use has unleashed a backlash by consumer groups and smaller telecom providers, which built a business model around unlimited download packages to compete against such larger providers as Bell Canada and Rogers Communications.

Fellow Canadians:

I think we can all agree this would not benefit the people at all.
Me and my roommate were just talking about this last night and now today it pops up in the news.
We have to stop this! Write to your MP and tell them what you think about usage based billing.
Speak your voice while they are still listening!!
