Justice Dept. Asks Judge to Dismiss MO Healthcare Challenge, Thursday, January 20 2011

(Jefferson City, MO) -- The U.S. Department of Justice is asking a federal judge to dismiss a lawsuit filed by Missouri Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder challenging the federal healthcare overhaul.

According to the Associated Press, the request from the federal government comes as Missouri lawmakers are delivering an opposite request.

The State Senate passed a resolution Wednesday urging Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster to either join Kinder's lawsuit, file his own, or join other state attorneys general already challenging the law.

If I remember correctly, Missouri had on the ballot a nullification by the people. The people voted about 72% to 22% against implementing the Obama Care bill.

Hmmmm, why is it that OBAMA will tell people of Egypt to fight against tyranny, yet do the EXACT opposite here.

Hmmmm, must be an intelligence thingy, where the elitists here know better.
